    WoW refugees seeking advice

    Three of my friends and I have decided to leave wow and while looking for a new mmo to play we have heard such good things about lotro and it's communities we decided to give it a try.

    The classes we mained in WoW were Preist, Shaman, Druid and Warlock, do you guys have any suggestions for classes that we would be comfortable in, or mechanics we would find appealing based on our WoW choices? Thanks so much, can't wait to enter middle earth!

    New Player - VIP or LOTRO Points?

    I know you are all probably sick and tired of new people asking for advice on here when most of our questions could be answered with a Google search...but I tend to like peoples opinions at times as well.

    So I just started playing about a week or so ago and I am really getting into the game. I am coming from WoW. Played on and off in WoW since just before the ICC raid was released for Wrath about 12 years ago. Alas they didn't treat their staff well and were particularly disgusting towards their female employees...so no more Blizzard games for me ever again. So here I am...anyway...

    • I am currently a free player and have had some hang ups that I am not a fan of so far. I have a cap of 2 gold? I see that I have an overflow of gold...but will I get it at a later date if I stay f2p?
    • I am a little concerned about my questing experience later down the road with a few things that I have read about quest packs. If I stay f2p, will I not be able to reach level 130 and see all that the game has to offer (mostly a solo player)?
    • Only having 3 inventory bags have become a problem with all of the task items that I keep to turn in tasks. Are keeping these task items going to be worth it in the end? I know they only give rep, but I guess I'm asking if that rep will be worth it in the end? Could I get enough rep with each "faction" just by questing and selling these items?

    I was diligent enough to really delve into getting a mount and I managed to get one...holy cow that is so much better than running everywhere.

    So I guess my main question is which is better and will alleviate most of my issues? What does one get over a free player if they become a VIP? (what do you get and then lose if you just do VIP for 1 month then cancel?) Would I get a better long run experience if I just buy a bunch of LOTRO points and then buy everything I am looking for with those (maybe wait for a double points weekend or Black Friday sale for the xpacs?)?

    Looking to upgrade dads graphics card to play LOTRO better

    So my dads big into LOTRO and he's looking to upgrade his graphics card to be able to run with his 4k monitor but I don't really know what would be a cost efficient graphics card that would run 4k with solid graphics fine in it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Good classes for mounted combat?

    I've been playing Warden for a bit, but I'm wondering how good he is when I get to the mounted combat... Or if I should just make an alt that's a class more suitable to mounted combat.

    Does any server have a good monster play scene, I've just come back after a 10 years break and I'm missing the PvmP but my server seems pretty dead on the Munster play side of things. I miss the days where each side could field two to three raids!

    Any 'Safe' way across the map?

    I'm a f2p level 29 player coming back to the game after a while. Is there any possible way to get all the way across the map? I tried it a while back and just remember getting brutalised trying the cross the misty mountains.

    P.s. no real reason for wanting to do this, just wanted to explore

    Problem launching the game

    I'm launching it for the first time on a Mac and every time I open lotrclient it runs some text file and then nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?

    At what level can I solo level 50 Raids?

    I'm just wondering at what level would it be possible to solo level 50 Raids? I play as Guardian.

    It would be cool to get some cosmetic items form the raids.

    Where to buy Mordor expansion pack?

    Hello.

    I want to buy Mordor expansion pack (nothing fancy, just a standard edition) but on lotro market there is no way to get it except some kind of bundle with five other expansions (moria, isengard, rohan etc etc.) wich i have already. Is there any place where i can buy Standard Mordor Expansion Pack?

    PS: i can't buy it for LP, i really preffer key...

    Can't click-Vales of Anduin: Wolf Denes - Informing the Masses

    What do you do when there's an object that is supposed to be clickable and you just can't find the right spot to click? I have the quest: Informing the Masses in the Vales of Anduin: Wolf Denes, and I see all the spots where I'm supposed to post the goblin drawings inside Goblin Town, they're sparkling, but I can't interact with it. This has been happening a lot recently in this area. The last one was repairing the damaged walls in Vegbar and also decorating Grimbeorn's hall with lilies. At first I thought it just wasn't clickable, but eventually (after logging in and out multiple times, rebooting the PC in case it had to do with my history files or whatever) I realized there was a single tiny area that if I found that I could interact with the spot.

    I don't know what the deal is with the spots to post the goblin drawings though. I've moved my cursor over every pixel and just can't find it. What do I do now?
