| With the promise of accessible pvp gear, would you participate in the Ettenmoors as a 'freep' Posted: 16 Aug 2021 01:31 AM PDT With the arrival of Gundabad and the 140 cap, they are going to have available PvMP gear with the 'audacity' stat to further even the odds for players wanting to just jump into the action. Currently you need high tier raid gear to be effective, without it you are screwed and liable to be pretty much wrecked by any creep, also without Audacity you suffer very long stun times. The idea behind PvmP gear is that more players are able to access the Ettenmoors and still contribute to the fight, it does not replace raid gear (probably won't be as good as raid gear but still very much viable in the moors due to audacity). Traditionally you need to be a certain rank to access this gear (rank 7). Hopefully they will have a set for unranked players but this is not confirmed. My questions are: are there P2W things in LOTRO? Is the subscription mandatory? (I eg consider ESO sub mandatory because crafting without crafting bag is basically impossible) What purchases should I consider or avoid? And what is the ingame population? :D thank you for any answers <3 EDIT: Thank you all for replies, I've read and appreciate all of them! I have also since managed to create an account. I'm playing a High Elf Guardian using a 2-handed Sword, specced yellow line (I just remember like the fantasy/playstyle). I sort of forgot the sequence of abilities. By that I mean the developer/publisher logo etc(not the new character prologue). Like editing with a text editor and modify some value. | I’m looking to form a D+6 group on Treebeard Posted: 15 Aug 2021 09:08 PM PDT Title. Searching within my own Kinship has yielded few results since many already formed groups early on, but I'd like to assemble a team on the Treebeard Legendary Server to play through all the regions and the Epic Quest on Deadly+6 difficulty on Mondays and Tuesdays. We would communicate through Discord, decide classes and crafting professions, travel together, and so on. We could even travel as a raid and then split into two Fellowships for instances if there's enough of us.
