♫ Curious about creating musical ABC files or forming a band? ♫ Here's your guide…

♫ Curious about creating musical ABC files or forming a band? ♫ Here's your guide…

I am a veteran of Weatherstock and Winterstock (on right now in Landroval) and I'm in the band Lindamar, from Laurelin. The Steam guide I've made, Musician's Complete Guide To ABCs has existed for some time but I'll update it when necessary, with links and details.

    https://preview.redd.it/uf32fg121lb61.jpg?width=690&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=19130964143497790ab4787e1c901b7cd2c9fcce

It has videos to showcase each instrument. It also explains how to create a drum track and volume changes, and how to make managing a band in Lotro easier.

I hope you'll find this helpful!

New to game what should I play?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 08:10 PM PST

I'd like to start off with saying that I like pretty much any race or class in MMO's and dont really care too much about being a certain role as I like them all.

That being said I'll probably be playing solo unless I can find someone who wants to play with me in game so I'd like a class that doesnt have too much of an issue doing solo content.

I mostly want to be useful to others though so it would be nice to play a class that is in high demand. Are there any roles in this game that are in low supply. I know some games differ between what people play but I think it would just be nice to start off with a class that people are looking for lol.

Thank you and any other tips you may want to drop feel free to. I'm going into this game mostly blind since I played it on launch for like a couple months and never came back.

Goofed my legendary weapon leveling and need help

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 07:43 AM PST

So I recently bought the quad pack and jumped in to Eregion and completed all the quests. So as you can imagine, when I got my first legendary weapon I was embarrassed to find out I had burned through all the quests that grant xp for it before I got it. What's the best way for me to level it to level 10 so I can continue into Moria?

    New Player Legendary Server

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 05:17 PM PST

Hello free folk. I am a new player but have played endgame in a hand full of MMOs (WoW, GW2, ESO, SWTOR). I want to experience the story at a slow pace but still be able to jump into endgame once I finish. Is playing a Legendary Server the best way to experience the story and will it hinder me later if I want to play endgame?

    Emailing SSG re: old account

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 09:36 AM PST

A few months ago I was thinking of returning to this game but I didn't want to buy all the packs and loose my stuff that I had on an old account. I have my old info but I don't know if they're still able to strana get the account from an old server to the current one.

Anyone know the email and more importantly if they will ever do it again or have the permanently stopped transferring old accounts off of old servers such as Imladris?

Warden or Captain stronger on solo?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 04:50 AM PST

I can't decide between the two classes. Which of the two is more recommendable for solo? The healing of the Warden is said to have decreased?

    Graphic question

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 09:22 AM PST

I installed the game today but declined the 64x graphic version, as I had some troubles installing it yesterday. Can I upgrade the normal version with the enchanted graphics, or will putting everything to max have the same result?

Are Minas Morgul and Wells of Langflood/War of Three Peaks connected in any way with story?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 01:42 PM PST

    Hi,

I am getting close to catching up with current content (going into the Vales now) and I am debating on how to proceed after that. I know that chronologically Minas Morgul was first and that it is going to wrap up the Black Book, but with how latest content is placed, it seems natural to follow up North after finishing Vales instead of making a turn back to Mordor, especially considering how much time I already spent there and that the risk of getting burned-out because of that is quite high.

But I do not want to do anything that would be damaging to the general consistency of the story, so doing things in different order than they were released is concerning.

So my question - Is Minas Morgul and the newest regions like Wells of Langflood and Elderslade connected in any way, referencing to each other, carrying over some characters from MM into War of Three Peaks etc, or are these stories completely independent and order of completion is not important? From the perspective of the story exclusively.

    Possibility to finish endgame solo?

    Posted: 15 Jan 2021 08:02 AM PST

    Hello mates,

I'm quite new to LotRO. I started some weeks ago with a couple of friends for socialising purpose, and after some time I'm quite into this game, and may think about even continuing after finishing the free quests. Problem is my friends are not as hooked as I am, and most likely they are not gonna pay for other quests.

Currently I'm playing in Belegaer, which is a German server, but my German is not very good. Reading the game in German is fine but if others' starting to use acronyms I'm gonna be completely lost. So my question is... is it possible for me to finish the game just playing solo or should I think about starting a new character in an English-speaking server so that it's easier for me to find others to play with at later stages? My current characters are champion/tinker and minstrel/historian.

    Cheers!
