He says he is level 15 and hasn't been gotten to use weapons. I showed him wiki and whatnot. Does anyone have a screenshot of a Beorn class wielding weapons?

Journey Through Middle-Earth - PART V!

...You there?! I'm HUNGRY!

Friday was a great stream where we ranked our favourite LOTR characters and continued our play-through through LOTRO - we have broken the Blackwold threat around Combe and Archet and now our noble heroes Paulette and Charles head in to Bree to find the Chieftain of the Dunedain, Strider.

We can feel our hunt for Amdir is coming to a close - and I fear it won't have a happy ending. Spies of the enemy are slowly drifting closer to the town of Bree and we can no longer rely on the Rangers of the Dunedain to protect it's borders... we ride to Strider with ultimate haste as we begin episode five!

Another note, that I am new to streaming so if there is any feedback I'd be happy to take them to make the experience better for all :)

Will there be another sale of expansions?

I rarely can play and I'm still below 50 hours and realized already I wont be able to get enough store points for the 99 priced expansions in time (for August 31st). Buying them with real money is kinda hard because I live in Brazil and 8 dollars turn into quite a lot of money (more than I can afford).

Since I rarely take time to play it, paying that much really doesnt seem like a great option (at least not right now). How rare is a sale like this? I'll be saving money for it, but will the expansion price get that low ever again?

If there is some way I could get more coins other than deeds (or maybe some better deeds, idk) please, let me know. I think if I play enough I'll be able to buy Moria (the one I want the most).

Stuck on 'Installing Pre-Reqs'

Hi there, fellow gamers.

I need some help: ever since the latest update (MacBook Pro, 10.13.6, update is security update 2020-004) I haven't been able to play the game, as it's stuck on the 'Installing Pre-Reqs' window.

I'm not sure the security update caused the problem; some days ago my laptop just froze and I had to force-shut it down and restart in safe mode, so that may not have done it any good. Any Mac owners out there who can give me some advice? Thanks!

(Btw, typing this while watching the many endings to the Return of the King, which happens to be on Belgian television tonight :D )

Any new players on Crickhollow?

I just started playing this game last week, currently a level 23 Hunter on Crickhollow.

My read on the server so far is that it's a little... empty? I played this game ~8 years ago and remember it being way way busier. Perhaps I just picked the wrong server.

It's not bad because I love LotR and am treating it like a single player campaign, but if there are any newer (or generous high-level players) that want to team up, let me know :)

Key Mapping issue

Hey everyone, I just started playing again after 3 years off. Every time I log into the game I have to reset my key mapping as it keeps going to the default keys.

Anybody know how to go about fixing this?

EDIT: Fixed the problem. On the launcher I pressed the down arrow and went to "Explore Screenshots Folder" then I deleted "lotro.keymap". Then go into the game and reset keymappings. Should all be saved correctly now.

It seems to of worked so far after having reset my keys everything seems to be in order

What to buy after activeting LOTROFREEQUESTS?

I am new player and all that expansions/quest packs topic sounds little confusing to me.

As far as I read, expansion gives related question pack with some additional stuff.

What do you reccomend to buy after activating LOTROFREEQUESTS code to get as much as possible while spending as low as possible?

I am thinking about getting 600 LOTRO points and getting packs that this code does not provide.

Bit of an odd question regarding potential character changes in servers

Hello everyone,

So, as the title suggests, I'm at a bit of a loss for words and would like to see if anyone can help. My father logged into LOTRO after months of not playing. But once the updates were all finished downloading and he logged in, he discovered that the only character available isn't his character. The character he sees is still a champion, and still has the same character name, but he's an elf. And my father made a human champion.

I know that lotro has been having some server issues recently, so I don't know if maybe something happened to his character (I'm really just spitballing at this point)? Has this ever happened to anyone else, logging in to find...not your character?

Dwarf cosmetics/outfits?

My main race that I love in the Tolkien universe are Dwarves and all my main characters are Dwarves. It bothers me that there aren't a lot of cosmetics that look good on them and I'm looking for inspirations or guides. Specifically I'm looking for things that actually look Dwarven and not Elvish, Human etc.

My main is a Guardian and the second one a Rune Keeper. I've got a few outfits that look Dwarvish but it's hard to find more.

Anyone got some links or something?

red minstrel help?

So i started a red minstrel and am getting a bit confused thanks to all the abilities you get. What is my rotation suppose to look like? With call to fate, dissonant piercing cry, dissonant strike where are they suppose to be in the rotation?

The guides ive looked at never seem to really say much about rotations and most of those guides ive seen are pre 2019 where i heard the minstrel got a de-buffed are they still valid?
