    Any random quality of life tips/lifehacks for a returning player?

    For example, I discovered something fantastic that I'm pretty sure I wasn't aware of when I last played:

    If you right click one of the ring icons next to the quest tracker on the right side of the screen, you can click "Track Nearby Quests" to automatically populate the tracker with the quests whose objectives are closest to you. I used to spend AGES switching quests on and off from the log so I could see which ones had the closest objective. Now it's literally two clicks away.

    Anything else I should be aware of to save time and effort? Thanks in advance!

    Edit: While I wish I could afford VIP, I'm forced to stick to free features for now if that makes a difference.

    I can't install the game, please help!

    I am unable to install the game on my computer and its really stressing me out. If you know how to fix this, aid would be deeply appreciated.

    My computer is a late 2011 model MacBook Pro, High Sierra, Version 10.13.6

    When I am trying to install the game, I go to the official download page on the LOTRO webpage, and click on the Mac download. When I open the downloaded DMG, it immediately shows an external harddrive thingy that has (in lowercase) "lotroclient" and shows the "add to applications" shortcut; so I add and click open the application. It immediately opens Python and starts showing command lines. However it stops and freezes on the line "install_prep_module => module not required, skipping".

    When the Python app freezes, because it always freezes, I have to force quit it, after I do this, it occasionally opens Wine, and I get a command prompt to download Windows Encryption, but the link is dead, and clicking cancel closes the possible installation.

    I've never played the game, so I don't know whats normal or not. I have no idea if I'm doing anything wrong, so if anyone knows what I'm supposed to do, can you please help.

    Account hacked

    Hello guys,

    my Lotro account has been hacked on 21. April. The attacker purchased Lotro points for about 400 Euros, bought some items in Lotro store and sent them to some other char. I have created two tickets on help.standingstonegames.com but so far I haven't received any update or reply from the support. Do you know if there is some number I can call or some other support pages where I can submit a ticket?

    Do mathom-hunter's armour boxes still drop from Hobbit boxes?

    It hit me, again, that I don't remember seeing those drop for quite a while. I looked at my filters and I haven't added those. My lower toons sometimes use the ones I'd saved, so I'm not desperate -- more just curious. Anyone know what's happened?

    I see the additional items in the Anniversary vendors (like accessory and caparison, etc). I originally assumed I needed to buy everything, but when I bought the horse - it was already wearing the full costume.

    Also in a gift box I got some mount costumes (I was away for several years so I'm a low level character but had 7 and 8 year gift boxes; I don't have a war mount).

    Are all these costumes (gift and purchases) just used for war mounts and not regular horses?
