    Just got back after a couple years, and re-learning everything. My lvl 73 was my 1st toon and has bounced around a lot, taking everything in instead of really adhering to the story, but now I just wanna get him going so I can see some of the later-game content, and I could use some advice. Prior to returning, I finished Moria & Lothlorien, but then completed Dunland for some reason and the quests are now sending me through Edenwaith (which is an area 7+ lvls below me). I have Isengard and Rohan expansions, but not Helm's Deep. What's my next move to continue leveling?Also, I have a bunch of various incomplete epic quests in my journal from Books I, II, & III, but I've been able to proceed in the story despite not having, for one reason or another, finished them. Are they still important or can I delete them? How do you guys handle the quest journal OCD?

    Ugh, I think I screwed this character up.

    Good ways to farm LP at level cap?

    What have you all found to be the easiest way (even if it's something that can only be done once per character) to farm LP at level cap? I've found doing all of the Moria instance deeds can be done solo at 130 in about an hour and a half for several hundred points. Is there anything else similar?

    Which class should I build for learning to raid?

    So I've played lotro for a while pretty much 100% solo but with recent events keeping me indoors I thought maybe its time I learn the whole other side of the game and build up to raiding. I don't have a lot of experience with it so please go easy on me. I def don't want to tank, so I was thinking more dps. I mostly want to decide between RK and LM, but I've also really enjoyed playing champ, so thats an option too. Not sure how these classes suit the dps role in raids though. I'm also totally open for other suggestions if you think another class suits better. Also if you have any tips/ links to guides/ advice that would be greatly appreciated!

    Back after a few years

    So I reinstalled while stuck at home for a few weeks. I have a LVL 61 Lore Master and was trying to finish up some old book one quests that are around LVL 50. I'm finding the travel time and back and forth between NPCs almost unbearable. I get a quest, travel across the map for a bit, then it's all the way back to the npc to turn it in. Then again, then again, so on an so forth. I do also have some book two quests in or around Lothlorian I believe. If I just skip ahead will I find the same issue? On that note what's the easiest way to Lothlorian from say Bree? Thanks :)

    Favorite and least favorite zones and why?

    I cannot decide what my favorite and least favorite zones are to level through. I think North Downs is awesome, Evendim and Eregion are awesome. Bree has so much nostalgia obviously. I think Western Rohan might be my least favorite zone. That was where I got really tired of mounted combat and quests.

    I'd like to see new weapon types in the game

    What I really would love to see is a glaive because I think that would be a really fun weapon, but other new weapons would be cool, too, although I don't know if there are many other options available.

    New class question

    Returning player! I'm coming back, along with a group of friends. I'm just curious about any class suggestions for both solo and group play!

    Been looking at a few, yet unsure what would be better since I'm looking for a support/healer role for groups, yet a decent class for solo.

    I was thinking maybe Rune-Keeper or Captain? Just curious about peoples' thoughts though!

    Trouble with reinstalling

    Trouble with reinstalling

    So I'm trying to reinstall the game from steam after having played about 2 hours of it several years ago. When I launch the game it brings up this, and this part of the download is not working properly. If I hit pause then resume again, the download moves back to about the 60mb of 88mb mark.

    Awful Launcher - Update Error

    Ive got this error update failed twice in a row after wanting to come back for the event, just fucking done with this horrible launcher and updater. I'm not diving into files and deleting this and editing that to fix this issue. They really need to figure this out, as I have ZERO problems downloading ANY other game/mmo. I'm rocking a mid range 2018 gaming pc and this is just ridiculous and this has happened pretty much every time I've tried to download the game the past few years, it takes a few tries to stick, which is wasted bandwith and time. If anyone has an easy solution that doesnt involve me diving into my pc and deleting this file or opening shit in notepad im all ears, but this is ridiculous.

    Wait for old character are start new one during quarantine

    I stopped playing LOTRO around 2012. Got my human Champion character to a late 30's level at the end of the Lone Lands. I recently wanted to get back in the game but my character was on the Windfola server which has since been discontinued. I've been waiting for like 3 months for the transfer button to come back to no avail. Now that the game is free for a month should I still wait for my old character or should I pore all my energy into a new character and potentially lose interest in my old, or should I just wait still. How long would it take to get back to my old level.

    Are new characters created before April 30th considered "premium"?

    Sorry if it's been asked before, I tried searching but couldn't find a clear answer.

    Basically I'm wondering if newly created characters before April 30th will be flagged as premium, as if they were created during a subscription (with various unlocks and whatnot). Thanks!
