    [Mordor Spoilers] Remaining Mordor leadership roll call

    So in LOTRO's Mordor, after Sauron fell, there were several players vying for power. Some remain, some don't. For my own boredom, I wanted to list them all (and also see if I'm forgetting any).

    Major Powers

    • [Destroyed] Mordirith / Gothmog - Wraith whose life was tied to the Ranger Golodir and the sword Dúnachar, finally defeated and destroyed in Minas Morgul.
    • [Destroyed] Dulgabêth / Mouth of Sauron - Gúrzyul who agrees to marry Lhaereth the Stained, only for her to betray him (believing him responsible for Sauron's downfall). What is left of him is finally destroyed in the Court of Seregost instance.
    • [Destroyed] Ugrukhôr, Captain of the Pit - Gúrzyul who helps Lhaereth to kill Dulgabêth. He also tries to kill Gothmog (though it was not clear to me why), but is killed in the process.
    • [At Large] Lhaereth the Stained - Ancient Morroval who served Sauron for many ages and longed to be his bride (or for him to at least give her a child). After Sauron's fall, she engineered the death of the Mouth of Sauron and tried to launch a new plague against Gondor, but was foiled in the Court of Seregost instance. She later went to the Gaunt-woman, Agath-kali, to see if the Dark Tree Morloth contained Sauron's spirit so that he could be revived, but it did not. Agath-kali showed no deference to Lhaereth.
    • [At Large] Borangos the Horror - A greater Rogmul, unearthed beneath the caverns of Nargroth. He created the Ghash-hai orcs and turned Urudani into a flame-wraith. Thus far, he has largely been a passive observer of the power struggles after Sauron's fall. He seeks something beneath Mount Doom.
    • [At Large] Urudanî - Once a Gúrzyul who was spared by Isildur's sons, she was later tasked with building a citadel over the fire caverns of Nargroth. There, the orcs under her command unearthed Borangos. Urudanî was defiant before him, and in return he turned her into some sort of flame wraith. Now she is largely a silent servant to him, though the game hints that she has some powers of perception beyond even her master.

    Other Notables

    • [Destroyed] Rûkhor the Pale Herald - Swore allegiance to Shelob but is killed in the Remmorchant raid.
    • [Trapped] Shelob - Blinded and hobbled in some dark cave.
    • [Destroyed?] Agath-kali, the Gaunt-woman - The first person sacrificed to the evil tree Morloth who thereafter became its keeper. After refusing to give Lhaereth a fruit of the tree, Agath-kali is killed(?) and the tree destroyed.
    • [At large] Dolguzigir, the Dark Archivist - Unknown type of being. Keeper of the Halls of Black Lore. Gave Laereth information to find the Halls of Lamentation in return for a recipe for her plague.
    • [At Large] Karazgar - Gúrzyul (he claims the mightiest of them) who hunted dragons for Sauron. Now searches for a cure to the decay of his body, brought on by Scatha's bite. Given the Black Book of Mordor on condition that he leaves the northern lands and gives up hunting dragons.
    • [At Large?] Nûlbanath and Mothgorod - two remaining Gúrzyul named by Karazgar.

    Am I missing anyone? Do we have any additional information about anyone, especially those still at large?

    Can't login to lotro - username/pw wrong

    So this just happened, suddenly I can't login to any of my accounts anymore - says username/pw is wrong. I'm 100% certain my username and pw is correct because I used it to login just 1-2 hrs ago.

    Anyone else facing this issue?

    Login Issues

    My issue this pops up when im trying to log in

    "The username and/or password provided is incorrect. Please try again .

    Username and password are case sensitive .

    Im really confused bc i played yesterday evening and even changing my password didnt work

    Anyone maybe know whats the reason for this?

    Any way to buy CP points and a valar boost without going through in game store?

    The reason I'm asking this is because I haven't been able to get the game to work recently and missed all the sales but I want to get a valar boost while I still have the recreation money. I'm waiting on customer support to get back to me on how to get my game to work but it's been around 10 days now and knowing them it could take longer. Anyone know how to do this?

    State of Game

    Played this many years ago but eventually moved away to consoles.

    Is the game still supported?

    What are the graphics like now?

    Playerbase etc?

    Love to get back into a Tolkien MMO but am put off by games that feel 10 years old and empty

    Stuck in Instance: Mordrambor

    So I don't know if it's a bug or whether I fucked something up

    But I'm basically stuck in the Instance: Mordrambor

    Mordrambor disappeared but then the camera and screen didn't go away, so I left the instance, came back and now I cannot do anything in it

    ​

    Anyone faced this issue before and/or knows how to fix it so I can finish the quest?

    Edit: Left and entered the instance another two times and the second time it reset and worked as intended

    One of my servers is gone… can I get my characters back?

    I haven't played this game in months and went to log on and the server that I played on isn't there anymore. I don't know when it shut down but I had some decently leveled characters on there. Is there a way to get them back? :(

    Treebeard: Broken Moria Quest

    Quest chain where you are asked to reforge the legendary weapon with Skar. Well I reforged it earlier in Bree and now I can't advance the quest. Can't cancel quest. Locked out of Moria and can't go any further.

    Anyone see this before? Thinking I may have to level to 56 and try and reforge again...

    How does Instance Finder work?

    So I am used to World of Warcraft and FF14, and they have "random instance" queues you can join if you just wanna run a random dungeon from what you qualify for

    But I dont see such a thing in LOTRO. earlier I hit 21 so I can technically run the Great Barrow dungeons it seems. I am curious if I always have to queue specifically for one, or if there is a random dungeon option?

    Also, if I queue solo will it just toss me into a party? How will it know what role I intend to fill (for reference I am a captain, red line since I solo most of the time)

    Is the game suppose to be this expensive? Or am I missing something

    Just started recently, missed the code (will this come back?) so I went for the 1 month subscription. I asked on World Chat for some info, so just want to clarify (the guy who replied was a bit of an ass):

    ​

    1.) Expansions aren't part of the subscription, is this on purpose and furthermore why?

    2.) Premium Wallet isn't part of the subscription, is it unlocked if I subscribe longer?

    3.) Is there any benefit to subscribing longer? I noticed the payable classes and races weren't unlocked. I'm assuming it's unlocked with longer subscription time?

    4.) Honest opinion: Is this game worth playing? Ignoring you can earn in-game currency since that's not new. But objectively, with all the paywalls after subscribing, and the high prices for just about anything, is this a good investment or just another cash grab?

    Belegaer - Minas Tirith constantly crashing suddenly?

    As the headline says.. minas tirith will constantly crash to desktop after a few minutes. i´ve never had these crashes before. I´ve not changed any hardware or drivers (except, maybe windows autoupdate did something funny, idk).

    Only thing that has changed is i wear my festive cap i worked so hard for cleaning up after everyone at the last winter festival... maybe i should change that..

    Does anyone else have this problem?

    UI Skin to hide the Error Box

    Hello! I was wondering if anyone knew of a skin that was able to hide the flashing error messages that occur? If not, I was curious how hard it would be to make one.

    I found this: https://www.lotrointerface.com/downloads/info868-NoAutoSkillBarSkin.html that does what I want, but to a different UI element. I'm not sure how I would go about editing the skin XML to do so. I am also unsure of the UI element name in the game files.

    Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

    Edit: I actually think I figured out how to edit the XML, I just need to know the Panel File ID and Element ID of the Error Bar, if anyone knows how to find that out.
