    LOTRO work on Windows 11? Devs gonna help that OS out?

    I have thought hard about upgrading. I"d like too actually. However as a player it would suck to encounter thousands of glitches, HAHA. :)

    Any regular low-level groups out there?

    Hi all! Bit of a longshot request, but: I recently got back into the game and rolled a new character. I've got a ton of nostalgia for LOTRO, but it's a world of difference between playing solo versus in a group. Are there any regular groups who play through landscape quests together who'd be interested in adding one more and/or start a new group? I'm down to either start from scratch or meet up in a starter zone. I can also power-level to the 15-20ish range and meet up if folks are already underway.

    I can start on any server. I run PST hours, but I can probably do as early as 9pm EST some nights.

    Server Lag

    First off let me just say that I'm playing on Evernight, this might not be a problem on other servers, I wouldn't know. Maybe not even for everybody on the server, but it certainly is for me and my friends.

    So after returning to lotro this year, I came to very laggy servers. Fair enough that the EU servers have been moved to the US, not a big fan of the move, but it was still playable. Lately however there are regular huge lag spikes lasting several seconds at a time making the game literally unplayable. I thought to myself, maybe the server is particularly stressed right now, lets wait a few weeks and check back. But no, it was still just as unplayable. Then I come here and to the official forums looking for answers, but I find nothing... What is going on, have SSG cut the server budget so low that they can't handle the load anymore, and we are just letting them do it? Or is there another reasonable explanation for this?

    I spent over 2 hours in MT just running switch backs on every tier from one end to the other. I can't bring myself to do this again.

    For alts, is there a way to skip Ch. 9 and start Ch. 10, or even jump ahead to Book 5, Chapter 1?

    Metalworking

    I have not been playing long but I have gotten most of my crafting up to tier 4 or 5.

    I was looking last night to make a friend a set of level 20 heavy armour and found that I had no level 20 recipes. I have all of ...15? and then all of 22+.

    I looked online and it seems like those recipes only come from scrolls? I think all of my other levels basic recipes were bought from vendors.

    Does that sound right and I just need to get more of that tier scrolls (Journeyman?)?

    Also - is there a resource that people use online for crafting? Is it the wiki?

    Lotro on M1 macbook

    Hello everyone, I'm wondering if anyone found a way to play on a M1 MacBook? I tried wine but it didn't work and I can't find a guide to follow that works with M1. Is the only choice to use a virtual machine with Windows right now? Thanks!

    Unable to login (incorrect password)

    I have had my account for over 10 years, entered the same password every day. I was even playing yesterday. And now it just says my password is wrong. I checked every possibility for me typing it in wrong, so I have no idea what is going on. I can't reset it because this is my uncle's old account so I don't have access to the email address, I'm not sure what to do now.

    Can't create an account.

    Hello, I' ve tried multiple times now to create an account but the "create an account page" seems to only refresh. I've tried with different usernames, passwords, emails and different browesers (without plugins). Any help would be lovely :)
