Question about Volume 4 and expansions. Been about a decade or so since I last played. Posted: 18 Dec 2020 12:06 AM PST Firstly: If I don't have any expansions, which as I understand make up Vol 2-3, after finishing Vol 1 and getting to the level requirement do I automatically start Vol 4? Secondly: What are the prices for the expansions? I would like to play in order but the 5 expansions that makes Vol 2-3 are probably pricey, at least bulked together if not individually. Like I said in title it's been a long while since I've played this, there weren't expansions when I first played this, and I've always wanted to get back into it and now I believe I may have turned my friend onto this as we are both big LotR fans and plan on playing together if time allows. As I type this I have it installing. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and, "NĆ” merye i turuhalmeri!" [link] [comments]
Question about the 10th Anniversary Soundtrack Posted: 17 Dec 2020 02:22 PM PST Hey guys. I have never actually played LOTRO, but I'm a big Tolkien fan and particularly interested in any Tolkien-inspired music, so I've been looking into the music of LOTRO. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out which tracks from the 10th anniversary soundtrack are from which expansions? Some of them are fairly obvious ("Moria" is from Mines of Moria, wow, who knew?) but with others I'm less sure. Appreciate any help you can give me! :) [link] [comments]

Is the game still offline, after yesterdays updates? Posted: 17 Dec 2020 10:39 AM PST Hi, Last night I finished downloading the 60gb of high rez and went to play for the first time but, all the worlds are currently closed. At least that's what it said. I noticed there was an update that took place yesterday and thought that might have something to do with it still? I also thought it might be me, being that I just installed the game, so I added 2 of the 3 .exe to the whitelist on Windows firewall (I forget which one now but, one of the .exe listed, to give permission to, wasn't there in the folder.) Anyway, I'm patient but, being new, I didn't know if the issue was me or them. [link] [comments]
I wanna get more into LOTRO but cost of some things doesn't allow me to Posted: 17 Dec 2020 03:52 AM PST Before I say anything, let me say. I really, really like LOTRO and I do NOT want content to be free, the game is F2P, so they need money. While I do think that subscription system is very old and kinda dead in most games, except for some RPGs, I won't mind free game for having it. However what is my deal, is the cost. As you guys now, you can easily farm LP, but it takes crap ton of time, for example I got my horse riding skill, when I reached... Bree but quite later too. Not imidietally when I got there. And farming LP can get more and more annoying the further you get. While you can just buy VIP, it costs 15$/euros a month, in comparison, most sites or games that need subs from my experience require from 4.99$/euro (aka. 5) to 9.99$/euro (10) which is amount most people can get. But 15 seems a bit too much, especially because it should to my currency, go into 60 PLN, but it goes beyond that, meaning I need to spend a lot to buy it.Which is bit painful considering I make only 25-30 PLN a month. So I am curious, why is this so expensive? I mean, I bet if it was turned down to 10 or even 5$, it would be good, because more people would be able to afford it, which would allow to obtain similar if not higher amount of money. But that's just me. [link] [comments]
