Posted: 08 Nov 2021 12:38 AM PST I love this game. Bought lifetime VIP back in 2007 and never looked back. I've played other MMOs (Rift, SWtoR, WoW) but I always default back to LotRO for the immersive questing, stories and landscape.... despite the occasional heavy lag :) I've never gotten into raiding and instances since the openworld stuff have been enough for me. Been soloing older content for deeds and such, but I've only done very little "real" instance content. I would like to change that because I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of nice content (never been about getting the best gear for me and such). What should I expect and how should I prepare (Focus pots, Hope tokens etc.). I THINK my toon is good gearwise. I'm not a valar level buffed toon, I used the token from the Gundabad expansion to get 430 Hero gear. All my virtues are max level (I'm an openworld deed completionist). Where would be a good place to start learning and which runs should I start with? BR, Zilbor@Evernight [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2021 01:51 PM PST New player here and I just got the Stout-Axe race and just played through their starter zone and wow, it was amazing. I'm just wondering the further I get through questing and leveling, does the quests get that good? I'm in the vanilla zones of the game and they're good but no where near as good as the Stout-Axe zone and quests. [link] [comments]
Are missions worth doing while leveling? Posted: 07 Nov 2021 01:01 PM PST Hey I just wonder if Missions are worth doing while leveling? Or should I stick with questing in outdoor zones? Thanks for replies! [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Nov 2021 06:22 AM PST It's probably been 5 years since I last logged in and 10 since I was a serious player. Once upon a time I would have been considered a "community leader". Long story short, I need a gaming rig to play but don't feel like building one again. Can anyone recommend an off the shelf computer (even a laptop) that will run this game at decent performance but not break the bank? Thanks! -Methost (lotrosource) [link] [comments]
Posted: 07 Nov 2021 05:17 AM PST I just boosted a stout axe champ with my gundabad preorder. I've been playing through the durin epic quest line. I noticed some side quests are locked out and need the wo3p expac. Essentially is it worth me buying the expac? Tia [link] [comments]
Wife struggling to download on her MacBook Pro Posted: 07 Nov 2021 05:15 AM PST It comes up with a weird dos looking screen then eventually just closes and stops. I am not a techie at all. [link] [comments] |
