Posted: 08 Nov 2021 09:55 PM PST Just have to say, as someone who has played this game for years but never gone past Gondor before, I'm just stunned playing through this region for the first time. After pushing through Minas Tirith, Pelennor, Mordor, and the end of the war of the ring story stuff, this truly feels like a breath of fresh air. It's fantastic. Honestly, it feels like playing through the classic Eriador regions again, if that makes any sense. The landmarks are all familiar, but you feel like you're playing through your own story again instead of just following Aragorn and Gandalf around and watching cut-scene after cut-scene. You can tell that a ton of love was put into all the areas of this region. I have loved both Felegoth and Lake-town so far, and for such a minor place I don't know if there's a more gorgeous looking village in the entire game as Loegland, just wow. This has quickly become one of my favorite regions in the game, easily the best since Moria, and I can't wait to see the rest of it. [link] [comments]

Technical problems. Alt-tabbing and UserPreferences.Ini Posted: 08 Nov 2021 08:29 PM PST Alright everyone. I need help. I consider myself pretty good with computers and I have also searched all of the Forums. I have done every single fix that I have come across and NONE of them have worked for me. I have also not seen anyone else mention the same problem that I am having. PLEASE HELP ME When I launch the game for the first time after restarting my computer, it launches fine and runs well. I use three monitors and if I alt-tab out and then alt-tab back in, the game stops responding and I have to force close it through task manager. This would be somewhat (although annoying) if I could just relaunch the game and keep playing. But after I close the game like this, I then need to delete the UserPreferences.Ini just to even open the game again. List of things that I have tried, 32 bit legacy, 32 bit, 64 bit, no proxy, admin mode with all the bits, compatibility mode with all of the bits, fullscreen, windowed fullscreen, windowed, installing the Direct X suggestions, installing the C++ suggestions from the forums....that's most of the stuff that I can remember off the top of my head. I have tried a number of small things from forums that I have seen as well. My computer specs are 3700x, nVidia 2080, 32 GB of RAM, and Windows 10. More than capable of running this game smoothly. My main monitor is 2560x1440, 165HZ with Gsync and my other two monitors are 1080, 60HZ. That could play a factor as well, but I haven't tested it at this point. The main thing that I want to be able to do is just be able to alt-tab without the game not responding. I did as much searching as I could do, but any other insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! [link] [comments]
So with the new LI system, do we lose the aesthetics of our weapons Posted: 09 Nov 2021 02:30 AM PST As I've understood it we now don't change weapons, instead upgrading the initial one we got. Does that mean we lose the different appearance of weapons or do they change form when reforged? [link] [comments]
How do I bring up Discord while in game? Posted: 09 Nov 2021 12:45 AM PST My windows key doesn't always let me exit game. How do I bring up discord without logging out? [link] [comments]
New/returning player looking for a Kin on Landroval. Posted: 08 Nov 2021 02:46 PM PST Hello, I just returned to the game recently. I stopped playing like 10 years ago, and I never got super far the first time around. Looking to experience all the content the game has to offer with a friendly, inclusive Kin. I'm currently leveling a Guardian and a Minstrel. [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Nov 2021 03:07 PM PST First made account back in spring 2020. Bought the High Elf and Brawler class. Under my account it shows I bought these, but I can't make high elf. Or a brawler. Still shows to "unlock it" with the gold coin. And it's not available to buy on the market. I have one high elf already made - can I only make one? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Nov 2021 04:30 PM PST Got an alt sitting on a Warband in the Dead Marshes to get the pet tome drop. Doing this daily for like, 8 months now!! And only one of the warbands as I'm not running between both every day. Why is drop rate soooooooo bad? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Nov 2021 07:06 AM PST I noticed that this skill is never used in any DPS rotation at endgame for burglars. i wonder why that is. damage seems good, animation is long but can be cut by Double edges strike. can someone explain what is wrong with this skill? [link] [comments]
Posted: 08 Nov 2021 07:35 AM PST Is there anything for a solo player to do at lvl cap? Aside the crafting and kinda dead Moors. If you dont wanna run dungeons/raids, are you fated to just reroll whenever you hit lvl cap ? Are solo skirmishes any form of slow progression at max lvl? Havent played in years and im considering coming back and treating lotro as a solo player game this time around. Edit: Ty for the answers! Ill give lotro another try. [link] [comments]

New/Returning Player; wondering if I could ask a few questions? Posted: 08 Nov 2021 03:58 AM PST Greetings, new and somewhat returning player. I played Lord of the Rings when it originally went free to play for about a month, but I haven't played since. So I'm technically a returning player, but also extremely new to the MMO itself. I've been looking up videos and builds on Youtube, and the websites from this Reddit that offer builds and advice, getting ready to play, but I still have a few questions if anyone would mind answering them.
Thank you for all of your time and answers, and I hope to see you all in Middle Earth! [link] [comments]
Why do Elven Hunters start in Edhelion? It doesn’t quite make sense to me. Posted: 08 Nov 2021 04:07 PM PST Can someone help me understand why we as Elven Hunters start out in Edhelion? It seems to be a lore-master or a minstrel appropriate beginning but Hunters? I don't think they be starting there. It just doesn't feel appropriate for Elf hunters to start in Edhelion Why not make Elven Hunters start in a instance in Mirkwood? Again I just want to understand this better. Why do Elf hunters start in Edhelion. [link] [comments]
Runekeeper. Asking for opinions Posted: 08 Nov 2021 03:33 AM PST Hello there. I am quite new to LotRo - have played for 1 month. Now I have 2 characters - guardian and Lore master. While I love LM, also like this feel of struggling I have at low levels, I also interested in Runekeeper class, since I just like everything related to ancient magic and ancient knowledge. Thinking about buying the one, but got an impression, that this is just another MMORPG caster. Can I ask more expirienced RKs here for opinion on class? How it feels, how it plays?
