    LoTRO Store - Large Essense & Tracery Carry-all limited time?

    Hi all,

    I'm unable to find anything about this anywhere online, but the Large Essense & Tracery Carry-all in the LoTRO store is listed under the "Limited Time" section. Is there any way to when it will no longer be available?

    I have essences & traceries taking up shared storage, and 50 slots for those in the carry-all are cheaper than 50 shared storage slots.

    (edit) - I ask this knowing that SSG usually puts a lot of things up for sale on black friday, but wondering if the bag would possibly get pulled before the sale.

    I've just come back to playing LOTRO after about 2 or 3 years since several expansions have come out and have been itching to get back into it and deeper into the game. My main character is a level 77 Warden, and I last remember being in Rohan and not really enjoying the mounted combat mechanics.

    I downloaded the game again and logged back in the other night and was a bit overwhelmed and not sure what to do. I know alot has changed like legendary weapons, but what I found most difficult to deal with was the UI. I've gotten a better monitor since the last time I've played and everything is incredibly small. I changed what I could like action bars and target display but inventory and character screens are still really hard to read.

    I was hoping someone could give me some guidance on what to do, thank you in advance.

    Audio is weird, music and certain sound effects work but footsteps,narrator, and certain other sound effects will not work but this only started happening(again) today after replaying this game again for a couple days .

    What do I do? Again certain sound effects work and the music works but footsteps,narrators and other sounds won't work?

    I don't know what I did? This happens every once in a while but when it does it lasts for a while. I JUST started replaying Lotro and I'm already getting hit with these weird sound bugs. It wouldn't bother me if it would still let the narrator speak or if I could hear my toons footsteps.

    Brand New Player looking for Friends and Advice

    Hey guys!

    I'm a brand new, never played LOTRO before, fresh out the gate player.

    I've been curious about the game for a long time.

    I'm looking to start though and would love someone or a group to play with while I learn and so on! Not sure what server yet or any of that, contemplating VIP, etc.

    I don't know, what would you recommend for a new player? Where should I go? Race? Class? Do they matter? etc

    I also have a discord and a mic so I can voice if you'd like as well! Feel free to DM me.

    Are they still planning on adding theLandscape difficulty NPC for all servers for VIP users?

    I wanted to return to LOTRO but leveling and one-two shooting while leveling is putting me off. I played a bit on Treebeard and loved the Deadly +1 setting but ultimatively I think the low population currently plus the fact that the unlock rate for expansions is so slow I do need to play on a normal server and clearing at my own speed.

    I read that they planned on adding the Landscape difficulty to all servers from posts 5-6 months old and from what I can see they are not mentioned for the coming update.

    Does anyone know if they are still coming and when?

    List of Virtue Deeds (Zeal)

    So it appears there was some overhaul of deeds and so I am not sure what is accurate. For example, one site says if you kill 80 goblins in Erud, you will earn the Zeal virtue. Well, that did not happen.

    How the heck can you figure out what to do for each one?

    question about farming LP

    wanted to farm some LP but what would be the most optimal route/guide, i am currently F2P but will sub to get some more LP and buy quest packs, but i understood that you make a character do the run and delete and then repeat, but do i have to do introduction quest like burning of archet every time?

    What classes would be optimal? also i just made a guardian and after intro quests i got 3 deeds for using skills on enemies but are like 1500 times or 1000 times which seems steep for a level 8

    any help guides would be greatly appreciated

    Brawler Battle-Gauntlets: Easy to acquire?

    Does anyone know if leveling a brawler will be granted battle-gauntlets from quests or drops. Or will the only sources be the starting gauntlets then legendary ones or crafted ones unless you buy one of the editions of Gundabad that gives you the leveling gauntlet box.

    I really, really don't like the new Legendary System

    This post is probably like a month late, and just another complaint to be added to a sizeable stack in the bin, but I'm going to say my peace anyways.

    The Legendary Items are a vary distinctive part of the post-50 PvE experience; While there were many problems with creating a "build" and keeping it going, and then all the "infusion" feces, past all these troubles was a solid (if dysfunctional) system that left you with an attachment to your weapon. This new system is no less dysfunctional and has no real redeeming qualities beyond "oh look, higher numbers".

    Traceries having max levels reeeaallyyy messes with me. If I was wanting to have to fiddle with my legendary every few levels until the end of time, why not keep the old legendary system and remove infusion/add post100 weapons? /s

    Traceries having rarities is really disheartening. While it can be considered that old legacies had this kind of tiering, they were also relatiivly easy to patch up through scroll of empowerments ... find the one you need, and the minor details can be addressed later.

    What happens to all the current outdated legendary items? I kind of get garbage in, garbage out to grind ancient texts. This all feels fairly pointless, and demeaning that the entire "Legendary System" can be abstracted down into a single set of blanks that a rivendell vendor sells.

    Lost Characters found -- but unable to transfer to live server.

    I last played in 2011 and decided to install again and take a look around. I logged into all of the available free US servers and could not find my characters however at the transfer screen I did see where I used to play on Vilya and I can transfer my characters to Palantir or Bullroarer.

    I do not see a way to transfer my characters to any of the currently listed live servers.

    Can anyone provide any insight? thanks!
