    Rp question. I have trouble rping as anyone else besides Gondorians. Eriador seems to be a bad spot for non-Gondorian men to start out in minus the Men of Bree land.

    How do you rp as a man of Dale or Rohan? I find it incredibly hard to stick with Rohirrim characters because Eriador isn't Rohan and really isn't suited for anyone(races of men at least)who aren't From the Bree lands or Gondor.

    How do you do it? People who rp as Dale folk and Rohirrim?

    And second less important question is what classes best suit the Dale folk and Rohirrim from a purely rp perspective?

    New Player considering RP

    I actually played the game with my dad for a few days back when it first went F2P. Unfortunately at the time we had a potato PC and internet so we didn't stick around. Probably had 10 FPS at best and I very vividly remember the latency being roughly equivalent to the half life of a proton. Nowadays I have a potato laptop but it's modern enough to run most games from the late 2000s. Still have garbage rural internet but not nearly as garbage as it was. Just a few days ago I was surprised to learn that not only was LotRO still around but it was also actively supported. I figured I would give it a shot since I have a weird amount of nostalgia for this game even though I only played for a few hours more than, holy crap, a decade ago. None of this is particularly relevant to what I'm here for so sorry for rambling. Just wanted to talk about the memory I guess.

    Anyway, I've always been interested in roleplaying but I've had severe social anxiety my whole life and for some reason the thought of RPing in a multiplayer setting triggers it. I'd like to work on getting over this particular hang up. Since LotRO apparently has a very welcoming community this seems like a good place to overcome some of that anxiety. So what I'm asking of you fine people is a heads up on the game's RP etiquette, customs, and just a general idea of what the RP community is like. I should mention I haven't actually read anything LotR related in about 15 years so I'd also like to know how much of an issue that will be. I can always go for a Wiki Walk to brush up on things if I need to.

    Thanks in advance for any input I might receive.

    Is it already adapted and I am the only one who doesn't know? If not, is it very hard to adapt? Sometimes I prefer using my cellphone device instead of minimising the game. I'm an android user, so if there is any browser which makes this automatically I would love to know, thanks!

    Do any of the level skips (120/130) autocomplete any of the Epic Story?

    I'm looking to get one or two level skips towards Black Friday when they are hopefully on sale (I missed the summer sales!), but this will actually be the first time I've ever used one.

    I just wish to know whether either level skip auto-completes any previous Epic story content? I know using the level-skips will automatically port the player to specific region for that levels content, but using recall can pretty much resolve this.

    As a player who still wants to go through the epic on a new character (but skip all level grind via side quests) which version would be more appropriate; 120 or 130?

    Will embers of enchantment in the wallet stay?

    I read that all embers as current endgame rewards/disenchantment would be changed to motes after the level cap raise. Does anyone know what happen to the embers in the wallet? Will they be converted to motes, just as seals in the wallet being converted to medallions?

    Questions: about good solo armour at L110, North Ithilien approaching Mordor?

    Looking at all the medium armour (for hunter), I really only see two main options:

    • Herbalists: Ithilien Path-finder. No set bonuses, and has vitality instead of agility (unlike the light and heavy that have will and might)

    • Host_of_the_West: Dread Terror, only seems to be available by repeatedly running Throne of the Dread Terror over and over. Is there any other way?

    Do I have this all correct? Are there some other options I'm missing? Is any of this worth doing, especially when I don't have a kin to do the raid? Is Throne even still a common raid to be able to PUG on Ladroval?

    I'm currently running some well equipped L100 Medium Nadhin armour. Looks like even the L105 Herbalist Ithilien armour could give me an OK upgrade, if slotted with a full set of T8 essences instead of the T7 in my current armour.

    Still not sure if it's really worth doing. Is there something at a slightly higher level that is worth waiting for?
