I'm thinking about starting fresh again. I subbed for a while had a bunch of TP, so I bought the expacs including up to Mordor. So I've got a lot of content to play through. 1 Which server to the Oceanic/SEA time zone people play on? Or if there's no specific server for that, which is the best one as far as population? I'm in east Asia, so the that's why I ask about time zones. 2 I know it's subjective, but any class recommendations for new players leveling up? Thanks. [link] [comments] | ||

You become a collector and then as you acquire coins through mobs (forcing landscape interaction), you have a low percentage chance of getting a collectors' coin. You take the coin to the appropriate race to be identified. This could be used as a vehicle to reveal the history of the empires and political powers of Middle Earth. Thoughts? [link] [comments] | ||

For all intents and purposes I'm a total newbie; are there any kins out there that could do with a new friend? Just rolled a dwarf champ. | Posted: 21 Aug 2021 05:32 AM PDT My new computer arrived yesterday. It's mostly intended for work, but I want to play my Steam games on it as well. I downloaded Steam on it, and spent a few hours waiting for lotro to install on it. When it was ready, I tried launching the game, and nothing happened. I tried running the game as an administrator using the launcher files, but I would get errors saying that files were missing. I looked at lotro.com's tech support section, and discovered that sometimes not all if the files are downloaded. So I Uninstaller the game, and downloaded it directly from lotro.com. This time, the launcher itself was used to download all the files. Needless to say, there were more of them (although I used the hi-res download, which inflated the number of files), so O had to wait even longer. Finally, everything was downloaded, and I launched the game. I got an infinite black screen with the swirling mouse icon. I tried running the game as an administrator, and still got an infinite black screen with swirling mouse icon š Is there any advice you guys can give? I've never seen this before. As I said, this is a new laptop (Intel Core i5-10500 CPU @ 2.5 GHz, 8 gigs of RAM, Windows 10, 216 gigs of memory, OS build 19042.1165. It's no beast, but it should be able to run the game, at least as far as I know). What can I do to resolve this? EDIT: After disabling the Intel graphics settings, I got the game to run! It's just running at an extremely low frame rate (5 fps would be generous). I've set the game to run at recommend settings, but that didn't help. Can anyone offer any further advice? EDIT 2: Turns out all I needed to do is switch to Direct X 9, and the frame rate improves substantially! Thank you to everyone who offered me advice š [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 21 Aug 2021 02:47 PM PDT I noticed that the rewards have been declining significantly as I continue to level. There was a point around level 100 where BBs were giving something like 500 marks and 100 medallions per objective. Would locking an alt at 100 be an efficient method of farming marks and medallions for my alts? [link] [comments] | ||

I am new at Mac and at the game too but I want to give it a try. If there is any video that would be great, I am not a native english speaker so the written tutorials are very complicated to understand, specially technical language about installation settings and I don't want to ruin the computer in the process. š Also, if anyone has experience in the performance of the game in the new mac M1 computers I would like to know it.
