    I mainly play Dwarves, but my first toon was a Hobbit Minstrel, now I also have a Beorning, Stout-Axe and High Elf. The recent news makes me really excited to have a River Hobbit Brawler.

    Hi all, happy new year.

    I am a returning player after many years and as such my guild mates have moved on with their lives. I was wondering if anyone was involved in an RP guild with decent activity on laurelin so that I might get socially reacquainted? Thanks for any help.

    does anyone know where the sharpened spike is for "Stirring Up Trouble"

    it is apparently called "sharpened pike" in the wiki https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Item%3ASharpened_Pike also in some places the "sharpened spike" most often referred to as "sharp post". and the quest description is either contradictory or unclear reading:

    "Collect a sharp post from the tunnels above the Goblin-town prison

    Stacks of bound posts lie in the main tunnels of Goblin-town. "

    where are the tunnels above and aren't the main tunnels (since they are referred to in other quests) the ones in between the load zones before you even get to the Slave Pens (which for this quest are instead referred to as the "goblin-town prison")

    How to Get to Far Chetwood for Barrow Iron?

    I am lvl 12 and lvled my crafting enough to be able to craft the lvl 12 armor, but I need barrow iron and think far chetwood might be best place, but how do I get there from Combe? Can you walk there? On the maps in the wiki, it looks like it's blocked by mountains, how to get there?

    Or is there a closer place to get barrow iron from Combe?

    I've played on and off over the years but never really dedicated much time to the game. Always loved it, but kept getting pulled back to other MMOs like WoW due to friends and whatnot. That said, I'd love to hear your first experiences and memorable times from the game.

    What was it like when everyone was stepping into Moria for the first time?

    What was it like when the servers first launched?

    What kind of glitches and bugs that are long gone now were entertaining or game breaking?

    What else sticks out in your mind?

    Battle for Erebor - Solo

    I'm currently trying to solo Battle for Erebor and even though I'm LvL 101 embarrassingly can't beat it on LVL 20 with my my hunter. Haven't imbued my FA Bow yet and have been doing the road to Erebor quests to pick up enough medallions so I can unlock 10 more levels on my bow.

    I usually kill one troll but one of the banner features kills me

    Any advice? I think it's the wrong choice of banners that kill me, reinforcements is fine as they get wiped by my split bow, but the other gets me.

    Silver Lining Question

    So, over Yule I was sidelined do to the COVID (all is now well, no worries). As a result, I was able to spend alot of time (yes I know that will anger the bot) enjoying the Yule festivities. So now the question: when's the next festival/ event. Is there a published calendar for these? I finally mastered the races and so feel more prepared for Spring/Farmers/Autumn than I used to. Appreciate any helpful (or even silly) links.

    Wondering about end game content

    Finally gonna give lotro a chance and level until end game. Captain with team buffs and off healing seemed right up my alley. Any suggestions on sometbing that's kind of support healer other than captain?

    Cloak won’t dye???

    I'm a pretty new player to lotro and recently I just tried dying the plain hooded cloak that I got from Lalia's Market but it still hasn't physically changed the color of my cloak even though it says it has been dyed already...

    I tried looking elsewhere on the internet on how to fix this but so far I'm coming up with nothing. I dyed my cloak while it was still in my inventory but I'm sure that's not the problem... can someone help me figure out wth is going on??? Any help would be much appreciated šŸ™
