Our might and valor saw us overcome the Wightlord Sambrog in the barrow of Othrongroth. The Witch-king, Ivar the Bloodhand and Skorgrim, however, escape. Upon returning to the Prancing Pony, we discovered Aragorn has left with the Hobbits heading for Rivendell - and we meet Gandalf, who was also too late to help... As Gandalf leaves for Rivendell too, he instructed us to find one of his fellow Istari... We made it to the Lone-Lands and found Radagast, the Brown Wizard at Ost Guruth. Radagast asked for our help in cleansing Garth Agarwen from the evil wights that inhabit it... And that's where we are heading in to today's episode! | Cannot log in to the game! Advice needed please. Posted: 13 Aug 2020 07:53 AM PDT I have been playing LOTRO since the Beta and played it a lot in the early years. I am a UK Lifetime customer with the original lovely big boxed version of the game. I eased off playing after a few years, but still popped in occasionally, and about 2 years ago I started playing again more often for a few months. Time pressure from work and other games (damn you Elite Dangerous and PUBG) meant I stopped again eventually. I now want to get back in again and am really struggling. The username/password credentials that I am 99% sure are correct are not accepted. I try to get a reminder sent but none arrives. I know that the email address I used at the time my account was created is no longer accessible to me, but I definitely changed that to a more recent one when I played in 2018 as I have email receipts to that address for ingame store purchases. My credentials work at https://help.standingstonegames.com/ but not at https://myaccount.standingstonegames.com/ so I have used the help ticket service to explain all this, in some detail with usernames and email address details plus order numbers for purchases in 2018. I raised my ticket on 3rd April this year and eventually got a reply from "Antares" on the 28th of May. I replied with the requested details the next day... and have heard nothing at all since. Given the Covid-19 situation I am sure they are short staffed and this is not a high priority issue but over 2.5 months later I am starting to think they are not planning on helping me at all. Can anyone suggest what might be going on, or how I can get back into the game? Is there a better and more responsive support person here or accessible via any social media? Help please. | Posted: 13 Aug 2020 07:43 AM PDT I have been thinking of buying a VIP status for one month since I am on a vacation and have time to play. My question is what of the perks remain. I understand that after VIP status ends all my chars I have used while on VIP become premium. Can anyone please explain what this includes? | Posted: 13 Aug 2020 08:17 AM PDT I am thinking about playing the game and I was just wondering if there are any big changes to the game such as new starter zones like in Elder Scrolls Online or content that has been forever cut from the game such as quests or items. I have played WoW a lot and with every expansion they cut some content from the previous expansion such as legendary items, so if you did not get the items or do the quests in time you will never be able to. I wasn't really aware of the roleplay situation, and since I would like to avoid a possible ban after 500+ hours on that char, is there a way to ask a GM for a name change or something?
