    1st Post to /lotro- Tried to capture the aurora in Forochel... realized I also got the seven stars of Valacirca (aka the plough / Big Dipper) overhead too. This game is phenomenal!

    I've just gotten my hunter geared enough for running raids, but I can never find anyone who is running them. How did you guys find groups to play with? I'm on evernight.

    Question regarding July redeemed code

    In July we were given the code to unlock quest zones for free, I just heard if you redeem codes in the character menu it normally doesn't work and I redeemed it in the menu (....šŸ˜šŸ¤¦‍♀️) will it still count since it said something about account bound or do I need to open a ticket? Did all my characters get it? Did they not? How do I know or how do I check?

    War-Steed upgrades?

    Are there tiers of war-steeds or is the starter war-steed the same as the rest? The problem I am having is that my main is level 108 and her war-steed only has like 2500 hit points so it goes down really fast (2 or 3 hits). Am I missing something or is this just how it goes?

    Decent Armour lvl 105-130

    Hey all, pretty experienced player (3 toons lvl 100+ plus about 6 over lvl 50) returning after about 2 years off. I've noticed that my crafted level 100 gear with blue/gold essences seems rather lack luster fighting 105 enemies. Is there decent armor to use along the way to 130 through epic quest, or should I be looking at just making do with what I've got till I can start end-game raids? I'll take any links to websites that can help too!

    I would like to play but the game is killing my eyes. What to do?

    Hello everyone,

    I was, like I assume many others, enticed to check out the game when I saw the free quests. I'm still in the beginning and enjoying the game so far, but I unfortunately have one big problem. The game strains my eyes to the point I can't play for more than about half an hour before my eyes start hurting so badly I have to take a break for a very long time.

    I have tried making the UI bigger but that just seems to have weirdly distorted it and made it blurry, and I can't find the option to make the bag UI bigger anywhere. Are there any settings I'm overlooking perhaps? Are there any mods/plugins that offer a UI overhaul maybe? Recoloring the text of the quest tracker to something with more contrast would also be a big help.

    Lag is becoming impossible to play

    Hi, I have played since beginning in 2007 and the lag from dial up wasn't this bad even during prime hours.

    It just gets worse for me. I am not sure if it is windows issues, the fact they are moving servers to odd places, or my greedy corporate internet provider.

    A little bit of passing the buck, corporations get away with stuff because they are often monopolies that dont give back to the communities that pay them.

    I give up. It is like the universe is telling me it is a scam. Dont give these greedy suck ups my money.

    I never said it was Lotro, but seems like this game in particular has really random lag.

    Sorry but I can only do so much if everyone else is fine.

    Keyboard issue GNU/Linux

    Hello,

    I played on Linux using Lutris/Wine and I had absolutely no problems. However I switched to Steam/Proton because I noticed how it runs smoother on it. But unfortunately, my keyboard seems partially recognized when I launch the game.

    For instance I have to reconfigure some key inputs at the launch and when I try to type accented characters like ĆŖ, it always write down ^e. It's quite bothersome to type down these on the French Server.

    Did some of you encounter similar issues ? Do you have any ideas on what should I do ?
