Posted: 18 Aug 2020 11:25 PM PDT So half the time I played this game with friends we would try to find glitches and boy were there a lot back in the old days. There was a spot in the barrow downs were you could get out of the map and it would say "you have entered restricted area" also I think you can still jump on Bree roof tops and get on the jail, auction house, town hall and a few other fenced off areas. Was a glitch in the trollshaws to that you could climb up a waterfall and get to another restricted area. I even dove off the top of minas tirith once and lived. Curious if you guys remember this at all. (I don't condone cheating or hacking. This was all just for fun and didn't give any game advantages) [link] [comments]

Posted: 18 Aug 2020 05:01 PM PDT "Nine... nine rings were given to the race of men, whom above all else... desire power." Greetings to all fans of the fantasy genre, Middle-Earth and Lord of the Rings: Online! Or maybe you're not? Maybe you're looking to see how this game is going after 13 years? Fear no more - you've found the channel to follow! We are a Lord of the Rings styled twitch podcast that plays through LOTRO and discuss Middle-Earth lore, music, gaming, sport and all sorts of other things! Just some blokes from NZ getting creative during quarantine. Yesterday's episode focused on the hunt for the nine Nazgul on the borders of Rivendell - eight we found, the ninth, alas, proved harder to pin down. While we were searching the caves of the Trollshaws for some sign of the missing Nazgƻl; Elladan, son of Elrond - and chief huntsmen - heard tell of one of the Onodrim in the wilderness that might know the Rider's whereabouts. The Onodrim are an old and wise creature of the forest and we located the being soon enough - but it attacked us, clearly corrupted by Evil. It is clear we could not possibly have faced the might of one of the "Old Ones". The Onodrim are friendly to the Free Peoples on the rare occasion their paths meet. The great forests are less-travelled now than they were in days past, and few now ever see one of the great tree-herds... It's now clear that the evil that seems to grow from deep within the Trollshaws and I fear that we cannot face it alone... Elrond advised that we work with the Elf-Prince Legolas, of Mirkwood, to travel to the Onodrim camp and weed out the corruption. There we found the ninth Nazgul! But he is able to escape, after we foiled his plans by ending the suffering of the corrupted Old Ones. We return to Elrond... "I am so glad to hear your news. Do not grieve overmuch for the loss of the Nazgƻl -- his fell designs with the Wood-trolls were ended by your brave actions and the skill of Legolas. "Yes, your encounter with the Nazgƻl has revealed to me what I must do. I will speak with Gandalf, for the errand of which you heard whispers has become all the more urgent because of the news you bring. "For you though, I would ask that you keep your attention focused on the Nazgƻl..." And thus we completed Book 4 and today we begin Book 5 of the Lord of the Rings: Online play-through Twitch podcast. We'd love you to join us today, as we look to hit 50 followers of the channel. Come, hang out, join in the chat and let's explore the world we love together. Head over to www.twitch.tv/propirate as we head live at 11am NZT. If you like the content, follow us and tell a friend! Posted: 18 Aug 2020 01:18 PM PDT Hi, I downloaded the new lotro from EDIT: www.lotro.com I can't login now, with my account data from several years ago? I tried to recieve my password, (not worked yet), - is it true, the new company is "standing stone games"? So can I trust these guys with my sensitive information? (the first contact mail is to/from those... - SSG) [link] [comments]
Can I still get the Gondor steed? Posted: 18 Aug 2020 03:45 PM PDT I just started playing and I saw someone with this really cool horse. Do I have to wait until next year for the quest to come back? [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Aug 2020 11:28 AM PDT If I relog into the game, my keyboard settings always get resetted. Does anyone else have this issue and knows a solution? [link] [comments]
Stuck in Dannengloor (epic quest line) Posted: 18 Aug 2020 08:58 AM PDT I'm not sure whether this is the right place to ask, but wanted to try - please let me know if I should remove this! I've been a very casual player for a very long time now - I'm all about the stories, atmosphere and landscape. After 8+ years of playing, my main (a minstrel) is still only at Level 70. I have never played any skirmishes, instances or raids other than the ones required by the main storyline. I have also always struggled to wrap my head around the legendary item system, and as a consequence, am probably woefully under-spec'd at this point. However, I've never struggled with quests at my current level, so assumed it couldn't be *too* bad. I was on an extended break where I didn't play a lot (and when I did, it was mostly festival content) but recently came back to the epic storyline leading into Mirkwood. So far, so good - but I cannot get past the Dannengloor skirmish that is part of the epic. I play it in solo mode, and the troll (very early on) kills me within 30 seconds every time. I'm really not sure why this is so hard for me - like I said above, I'm sure I'd have more hitting power if I was up to speed with my legendary items, better gear, etc - but as I haven't had trouble doing any of the other main quests around Level 70, I don't understand why this is so different. I'm sure there's something pretty obvious I'm missing, but I'm rapidly running out of ideas and am totally stuck. Any insight you more seasoned LOTRO folks might be able to provide would be very gratefully received! [link] [comments]
Posted: 18 Aug 2020 04:57 AM PDT Hello all, so i unfortunately missed the start of legendary servers, which pisses me off as I would love to experience angmar and moria at level cap, but stopped following Lotro after Isengard. As far as I know, there are currently two legendary servers with unlocked content up to Isengard or so... Is there any info, if/when a new legendary server is gonna open ? Thanks and take care :) [link] [comments]

I decide to play a 13 year old game and servers decide to go down Posted: 18 Aug 2020 11:19 AM PDT As a new player I've been playing for a week. Server issues been happening for some time but i didn't pay attention since i've been playing in relatively safe areas in game. Today i went to hunt some goblins and creatures and server went down. My naive ass 13 lvl character got stuck among creatures, taking damage but could not respond, move or do anything. It was painful to watch my health bar slowly go down and eventually dead. As a new player i do not have nice impressions at all. And i don't see any official posts or anything about the server issues. I'm genuinely disappointed as a new player. [link] [comments] |
