    Hello there,

I've put together a midsummer route through MT. Maybe it will help someone.

[Humor] Either these guards got duped with this duty, or that's some precious pipeweed in that empty tent.

Getting my dad into the game

    Posted: 04 Jul 2020 01:43 PM PDT

So my dad has been playing the hell out of pokemon go and harry potter wizards unite on his phone. I made him an account yesterday and he is liking it. I wanted to get him setup with most of the things you want as a new account, my account being from 2007 and playing off an on over the years I am not as up to date on options. Wanted to run this list by people and see if I am missing anything important. I am pretty sure the currency cap unlocks when I pay for VIP for him.

+18 inventory slots (221 on sale right now) = 3978

7 instance and quest packs at 99 right now = 693

Wallet (does this auto unlock if i buy him 3 months VIP?) = 995

Riding Skill account wide (Sam bundle) https://www.amazon.com/Lord-Rings-Online-Samwise-Download/dp/B00EUHVPKI?th=1 = $10

    Enduring Universal Toolkit = 450

Total = $10, 6116 Lotro Points, and $30 VIP sub for 3 months.

Some questions from a new player

    Posted: 05 Jul 2020 01:02 AM PDT

Hi, I recently started playing and I'm liking it and decided I will keep playing. I'm currently playing a runekeeper on Evernight, but I'll most likely give Warden a go as well as I'm only level 10.

I like the yellow path of the runekeeper as I enjoy running around while killing things. But I suppose RK mainly plays stationary in red later on?

Here are some questions I have:

    • Do Runekeepers and/or Warden have a high skill cap? I enjoy dpsing and classes that you can play on a "different level" than other people.

    • How important is crafting / professions? I couldn't really find any resources about what would be good for said classes and if it's important to keep crafting while you go along.

    • Questing: I've just been following all the quests I've received so far, but was wondering if there are any certain places I should visit or just go with the flow? I've used the lotrofreequests code and have the moria pack as well.

    • Is there any way to easier see where on the map the quest turn in is? I can't seem to zoom in while in a town so I'm pretty much running around until I find the person I need to speak to.

    • I keep finding alot of things while killing my way through the zone, flooding my inventory along with some gift box I seem to be getting. Is anything at low level worth keeping? Like dyes and purple low level crafting items. I also keep getting potions for morale and things, but I didn't really find any information about what morale is.

I probably have even more questions, but this got rather lengthy already šŸ„ Cheers
