A bunch of the expansions are 50% off on there.

    https://store.standingstonegames.com/store/ssg/en_US/list/ThemeID.4823088100/categoryID.58516200/size.21/startIndex.0

In the in-game store, buying points includes double bonus points along with a task item carry all. (That's a brand new type carry all! Woot!)

Official page info is up: https://www.lotro.com/en/game/articles/lord-rings-online-black-friday-deals

The small task item carry-all will carry 10 unique task items that allow for them to stack up to 2000.

The medium task item carry-all will carry 25 task items that allow for them to stack up to 2000.

These carry-alls are bound to account.

    Stout axe valar

    Posted: 27 Nov 2019 06:17 PM PST

Does the stout axe valar give swords instead of axes? I've been hearing that it gives swords. Are there any plans to change this?

Is it worth buying the Eriador bundle at 25% off? Isn't a 50 and 75% sale common this time of year?

I'd love to unlock all the content up to Moria but 3000LP seems really steep, it's more than I'm paying for the expansions barring the latest release. Pretty rough for a new player that wants to get into this game and gets slapped by all pay walls to unlock content, and that's without mentioning the tremendous grind at end game if I ever do make it.

(Spoiler) Gothmog’s Rage from the new Black Book

    Posted: 27 Nov 2019 08:19 AM PST

Any tips on how to finish this instance? I tried several times but failed, I can't move fast enough for the red circles while trying to click on the persons appearing there. Since all this is still very new content there are no walkthrough notes on lotro wiki nor any online info at all. I enjoyed Minas Morgul so far but I think it's time to keep myself busy with another alt and wait for some time until all necessary info is filled in, all the hidden tricks & tips etc. but if anyone managed to do this, any tips are welcome.

    Posted: 27 Nov 2019 04:20 PM PST

If I disable the sound from LOTRO the sound still continues. The sound only stops if I close/minimise LOTRO or manually reduce/switch off my speakers. Strangely enough, the sound also oc

    Has anyone had similar issues?

Mordirith story from the New Black Book (spoilers)

    Posted: 27 Nov 2019 01:23 PM PST

So - I am a bit confused on the stories about Mordirith.

    1. In Voin's account, we see a mostly unmolested Earnur, whom the Witch King is setting up to fall on his sword and thus bind to his (WK's will) and basically torments psychologically until he gives up all hope.
    2. Thanks to Voin, the sword is removed from Earnur so he does not get bound to WK that way yet.
    3. However, Earnur still lost hope beyond repair and became Mordirith. Last we see him going to Bar Narnaeth to see the priestess there. <- is it reasonable to assume that this is when the physical torment relayed by the lost lore pages of Thurngwath started?
    4. The evil priestess said that he was called Mordirith and allowed to escape after she was done with him. But in (3) Voin saw him as Mordirith already?
    5. Why was there a white tree in the mountains? How did the Nazgul know it was there? What did they do with it???
    6. That sword! So, it gets to be recast and Golodir wounds Mordirith with it, a 1000 years later, binding him to the Witch King now. [as opposed to Sauron? or what? was he not bound to the Witch King already?] - that got undone after the WK bought it, thus, in the words of Gandalf, ending Mordor's grasp on Earnur! But Gothmog caused all sorts of trouble after WK was already dead! Was he now doing it as an independent agent of sorts? Clearly, I am missing something!

So - gentle redditors, help me! It is driving me nuts even more nuts than usual]

    Been gone a long time

    Posted: 27 Nov 2019 12:25 PM PST

I started lotro in 2007 and eventually got the lifetime membership back when turbine was offering it. I haven't played since 2012ish. I've come back a few times, but it just feels very barren and lonely compared to how it used to be.

Are any of the servers more populated than others? And, are there any fairly busy kinships around still?

    Thanks

Legendary Weapon Imbuement Order of Operations

    Posted: 27 Nov 2019 06:22 AM PST

    Hi all!

After many years of playing on and off, I'm approaching level 100 for the first time on a character. I've acquired a first age weapon and plan to imbue it, but I'm not too sure what the order of operations are to max it's effectiveness after imbuement. What's the order of the steps to take? If I don't do one specific thing before imbuement, will my weapon be forever weaker?

    Lotro and Black Friday ?

    Posted: 27 Nov 2019 09:22 AM PST

    Hello !

Have you any news about lotro and the black friday ? I understand that sometimes there is an offer concerning a pack with many lotro expansions for a good price with steam or on the LOTRO market...

Do you any feedback about that ?
