    Hello LOTRO community, you've come at a most fortuitous time! I have recently in the past few months returned to LOTRO after not having a pc for over a year. My level 109 cappy is pretty out dated, still using the Dol Amroth slotted gear. I started to grind phials of extract for the North Ithilien set and have already purchased some pieces. He was a blue line cappy before I had a lot of fun with the build. But I need to update him now. What kind of essences should I slot in the armor for a blue line build? Each piece has 4 essence slots. I found another thread on a blue line LI build so I just need help with the essences. Also just to note I don't have the Mordor expansion.

    grey/white grid loading screen

    Hello. I am getting some grey and white grid instead of loading screens. It happends on startup, after the animated standing stones splash and when transitioning between areas ingame.

    Tried deleting a file as suggested somewhere else, think it was logo in /raw or something like that - and when relaunching the patcher downloaded 4-5mb's and patched, but I still get the same grid.

    Either I deleted a wrong file or it just redownloaded the grid.

    Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Bored of my hunter's gameplay, but I love the map mobility it provided

    I'm currently level 80, underleveled as I need to be in Edoras now and at 84 and I'm just sick of the hunter's very monotonous skill rotation.

    I love LM because of its many skills and ways to deal with a situation plus the animations are fun unlike hunter's which basically lacks any, but I hate the ridiculous cast times. It's just annoying for me to sit and cast. And it lacks the mobility of traveling around the world.

    I somewhat enjoy captain gameplay though I can see it getting boring too and that annoying scream will drive me nuts for 130 levels.

    Any suggestions on what class has a skill rotation that doesn't get boring like the hunter's?

    DLC’s, starter packs, etc

    I'm a new player and someone I met told me that I should get the Samwise Gamgee starter pack which I couldn't find on the store but found it online for about 5 quid of a g2a type site. I then found that some people said it's completely worth it and some said that it's not worth it because you don't get anything besides a mount and riding skill. So is the Samwise Gamgee starter pack worth it? Or is the VIP for 30 days more worth it? Or is there something else I as a newbie should get? Thank you in advance

    Is champion or warden better for quickly progressing solo?

    I have a level 25 warden and i've realized how useful aoe attacking is. I'm wondering whether to switch to a champion. I've already spent some lp on my warden though and it would be annoying to either use more on a different character or not get the character bonuses i purchased. I want to pick one as my main to progress to end game. Any advice?

    Display/ Brightness Settings

    Just recently started playing on a new computer so I'm still figuring out the settings. But during these wedding quests I've realized that something about the brightness/lighting is off because Galadriel is GLOWING bright compared to the surroundings (I can post pics if needed). I've been clicking through the advanced graphics but can't figure it out, so wanted to ask here if anyone could help me out.

    Viruses and lotro

    I'm not exactly a gamer but would really like to start playing this game because I'm a huge lotr fan. I downloaded it on my dads computer when I was younger and it got some kind of virus, all I remeber is that I wasn't allowed to play it anyomore.

    So I wanna know if it is safe to download it? What anti-malwer should I be using?

    Returning player question

    Hello, I'm looking to return to this game after years but I would like to know a few things first.

    Is the BiS(best in slot) gear obtainable from someone not in a guild? Or does it drop from content that can't be pugged?

    My main focus is PvP since it's what kept me playing for years, but my schedule does not allow joining a static group to earn gear from PvE. I can only do it on my own pace nowdays. Can pug players obtain BiS gear?
