Need some advice on level 100+ quest packs

    Posted: 19 Dec 2019 11:33 PM PST

I'd like to know, amongst these packs, which are "must have" and which are "can skip", and why.

    In particular :

    • is there a main "book" epic quest line that require purchase of these packs ?
    • do they give access to instances still relevant at current endgame ?
    • do they give access to talent points like in Gondor ?

      Thanks !

    • March of the King

    • Battle of the Black Gate

    • Vales of Anduin

Does anyone do this before they log out?

    Posted: 19 Dec 2019 05:07 AM PST

Before I log out, I always make sure I'm in the most safest place in the area, away from all the evil creatures and with all my allies sitting close to a campfire, relaxing..

    Can anyone relate?

Does anyone know if you can create this kind of outfit in game?

Terrific liquor lovers and how to treat them (according to LOTRO)

Terrific liquor lovers and how to treat them (according to LOTRO)

DISCLAIMER: a few of the screenshots come from quests in the game. There are no major spoilers or anything but if you don't want to see anything you haven't seen yet - well, you have been warned.

Who doesn't like a cold beer after a whole day of adventuring? Well, some don't. Some do. Some like it maybe a little too much. Some even skip the adventuring part. You can see such individuals scattered around Middle Earth (or you cannot, if you're scattered yourself). What to do about them? Well, LOTRO provides several ideas...

    1.Punish them

Oh, so they wanted to drink? They will drink, alright!

    1. Kick them...

That's enough sleeping on MY floor!

    1. ...or kick their asses.

Look at the mess they've made!

    1. Rob them

    They deserve that, right?

    1. Just look at them

    How disappointing.

    1. Read them a book

Maybe some literature will interest them?

    1. Enjoy some views with them

How beautiful... You would see it if you put that tankard away from your face!

    1. Let them dance!

    Err, careful with that mug.

    1. Try to engage them in a conversation

So about my last adventure, you won't believe what-- Are you even listening to me?

    1. Let them brawl in their secret fight club

How did I get here? How do I go out?

    1. Let them count their dirty money

I did not see anything. Where's the door?

    1. Listen to their culinary advice

I have no words to such wisdom.

    1. Accuse them...

Somebody must keep order in this place...

    1. Wait... what's that?

    How... refreshing!

    1. ACCUSE THEM DRUNKARDS!

The nerve of some people... Can you imagine?!

    1. Challenge their champion

You think you're good at this? I'll show you!

    1. Shiing with them!

Ah, how nice! I love shinging!

    1. Join their association

    They even have a hideout!

    1. Just let them have their fun

    Cheers!

    1. Their life is already hard enough...

Will they open a new legendary server with slower content release?

    Posted: 19 Dec 2019 03:37 PM PST

Old time lotro player here and I tried legendary servers but they release sooooooo fast new updates. Really took the wind out of my sails. They ever talk about a new server with slower content release? Honestly don't care if only 100 people play it. I really want it

Highest server population for GMT players?

    Posted: 19 Dec 2019 09:02 AM PST

I'm sure many have asked this already, but which servers have a high population of players at peak time (5pm - 11pm) for GMT (UK) players? I've heard Arkenstone has a high population of players, but are these players predominantly from the US?

Need Help ASAP From Steam Lotro Players

    Posted: 19 Dec 2019 05:19 AM PST

I recently updated to windows 10 cause of FH4 but i couldn't backup lotro through steam. When i launched steam to try and test if lotro works, it didnt, nothing. No response, so i moved lotro from the steamapps>common folder and uninstalled it in steam, then i copied it to the common folder again and clicked on install in steam,

It started discovering Existing Files (as i hoped it would) but then it started reserving space. Steam started downloading lotro again.

I cant download it fully right now cause of data issues so if anyone has any solutions it would be a lifesaver else i would have to wait a month or sošŸ˜
