    I'm trying to play but it keeps saying "installing pre-reqs. I tried to get on lotro forums but those also won't load. Is it down currently? I'm not seeing anything on the official twitter

    Playing through areas while significantly overlevelled

    I was thinking of playing through Angmar on my level 66 champion in order to experience the story in a stress free manner. Does anyone else ever play through areas which they have greatly overlevelled? Is this a waste of time or can it actually be fun?

    Did anyone else notice the 50% off everything sale today that lasted 40 min?

    I was literally gonna spend a fortune but I was tallying up how many points I needed to buy and asking world chat was was good to buy since I'm new and then poof sale gone. So bummed. Vip, and LP was even included in 50% off.

    Silverlode cira 2007-2009

    Anyone on here that used to play on Silverlode back in 2007-2009? Just missing some old friends, like a hunter name "Bald" short for like Baldaran or something like that. Used to chat a lot on Teamspeak, and he was from Australia...

    Anyone know? :) Also, my character used to be named Nairobe.

    I started playing Lotro on monday and have been hooked but as of most of yesterday and today i haven't been able to log on Arkenstone whats been going on exactly if anyone happens to know?

    Constant crashing as of today

    I'm a newer player and as of today I'm getting constant crashes to desktop, every 1 to 20 mins. I've been playing this game for the past 2 weeks without any other crashes.

    It seems to happen at complete random, from walking around to mid fight and everything inbetween, I've tried everything the limited suggestions are online (repair data, turn sound off, swap from 32bit to 64bit and vice versa, max graphics, super low graphics) and nothing seems to have worked so far.

    Anyone got any suggestions why this could be happening so suddenly? Even better if you could suggest a fix :)

    How to use those Midsummer craft kits

    I've got 6 of the strawberry bun kits and i'm a high level cook. But when I go to the oven and click, nothing happens. Am I missing something I should be doing? I thought I just needed the craft ability and 3 of the kits.

    So I'm not sure if it's bugged or if there's something I should be doing that I don't realize

    Best way to start PvE with my wife

    Hello! We are interested in starting out in LOTRO now that it is free with tons of extra content cheap/free as well.

    My wife and I like to quest together side by side simultaneously in PvE in WoW. What is the best way to do this in LOTRO? Do we need to start as the same race or class to be in the same starting region? How do we best start off in the same area?

    "Server connection timed out" Problem im having trouble with.

    I downloaded the Steam installed version of the game and it worked fine for a while. I exit and retry a few hours later and it begins saying "server connection timed out" I did the basics I've seen turn off proxy, reset router, etc. But nothing seems to work. I tried re installing and nothing.

    I tried the original download and the same thing happened, Turned off proxy and that stuff. I'm kinda confused and annoyed cause it was working fine then boom "connection timed out."

    Will UI scale better on a 1440p 27 in screen vs 4K 27 in screen?

    Just got a nice new 4K in monitor, and I was hoping I could finally play in 1080p instead of 766p, mainly because the UI was too small on my laptop. Unfortunately, 1080p on the new monitor is a hair too small, with some things such as items, character panel stats, etc having no scaling controls. Using the UI scaler causes things to go blurry anyways. For now I'm playing on 900p but there's a noticeable different in picture quality since my monitor actives HDR when it detects 1080p or better resolution. I'm not really holding out hope that SSG will ever give proper support to higher resolutions as far as making sure things can scale well (would be awesome though, textures look very nice in 4K).

    My question is, if I downgrade to a 1440p monitor, will things scale better? I also might do this to get 144hz refresh rate since I only have 60hz on the 4K monitor.
