    The wedding banquet quest, especially, was very touching (and funny!). SSG really managed to both honor the source material and our own long journey through Middle-earth.

    The visuals were beautiful, the writing was moving, and the music was stirring. This is truly unique, special MMO content.

    Thank you for this and all that came before, and I cannot wait for further adventures!

    PvMP development and the current situation

    Hi guys,

    I recently came back to Lotro. I really enjoyed PvMP back in Moria/Rohan times. What went wrong meanwhile? The creep side feels like is back in Alpha, with the latest update everything is so bugged. Half of the quests not working, invisible freeps, banners not working, snares visible now and then. Having 10-15 players in one place makes it impossible to play as it gets so laggy. Was not the case 10 years ago, why is it now?

    Balance: what balance? Everything a creep does, a freep does it three times better. Also the skills, when was the last time SSG updated them? It feels like the dmg was supposed to be for lvl 65, not for 130! With U27 the dmg doubled on some freep classes (Hunter,RK from what I've seen) so we end up dying in 3 shots. Do they try to get rid of PvMP and don't know how?

    This definitely needs a rework and a dedicated developer to fix the current mess. Sorry for the rant, but this is unacceptable when you charge for something like this.

    First off. I've been playing on and off for years and only managed to hit max level and play end game in the vanilla game. Years have past and I've played on and on and off like a lot of us. Now I really want to make a solid effort and take my time to play this game I love so much.

    Work and personal life really make my play hours kinda erratic so I can't rely on group play. That being the case I was wondering which class you guys recommended for me. I would like to 100% everything I can solo, end game instances and raid are just a bonus.

    I narrowed it down to three classes that I like: Burglar for the feels, and for stealth exploration; Beorning for the survivability, soloing those instances on or near level; Lore master for outsourcing all the heavy work and the fireworks.

    Any inputs?

    Unknown Error: E_Fail

    I have started getting this error when trying to update LOTRO for the latest patch. I had gotten it in the past, and found something somewhere that said that this was a Steam bug, so I reinstalled the game separately from Steam, and it worked. But now the non-steam installation is getting this error, very quickly at that. Any advice? Do I just need to wait the whole thing out or?

    I have a question about the free quests.

    I have a brand spanking new Gaming Laptop arriving tomorrow (Acer Nitro 5šŸ˜) and I was wondering if all of the free quests (Coupon Code LOTROFREEQUESTS) actually expire on August 31st. I know you can redeem them through the 31st of August, but do you lose access to them if you redeemed them before August 31st? Thanks!

    Is it just me, or is today's patch particularly large?

    I've been patching for over an hour now. It's definitely moving and patching, but I'm only at file 4300 of 28658.

    For a normal update it might take this long. Might. But even those are usually smaller and quicker than this. But seems that this one is taking forever with all sorts of larger files.

    Quick Crafting Advancement

    I'm returning to the game after several years of not playing, and I'm realizing that I was/am WAY behind on crafting. Is there any way to quickly advance my skills without literally just roaming the lower level regions farming supplies. (I'm an explorer if that matters) I tried looking in the Auctions for unrefined resources but couldn't find any. Did I just look at the wrong time? I don't have the game open right now, but I'm lvl 52 working through Moria and think that I'll probably have to farm in lvl 20ish zones... like the lone lands, maybe even further back. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

    Any Finnish or Swedish players?

    Hi!

    Would be nice to talk in either language for a change. I am in really old Finnish kinship on Evernight that seems to be kinda dead nowadays :( I'm 26 years old chill guy who used to play every day. I just started playing again, currently in Mordor with lvl 107 guardian. I also have plenty of alts, highest lvl is 85 and then couple of 65's. Would be nice to do all kinds of content together!
