    [Evernight] Slowtro - a level-capped kinship

    Slowtro is still alive and kicking, with more than 20 members online in our prime time (7 to 10 PM CET).

    Slowtro is a kinship where you can enjoy doing content on level. All you need is a Stone of the Tortoise (Experience Disabler 100LP) to be able stop you from levelling up.

    Slowtro has two level caps: level 50 and level 105 . You choose which one you want to follow. We do weekly events for both level caps, everything from chicken runs to the raids in the Rift or Throne of Dread Terror.

    Join us ingame by joining the user chat channel Slowtro (type /joinchannel Slowtro) to ask for more information or an invite to the Slowtro kinship. The user chat channel is also an alternative if you want to enjoy low level instances, but prefer not to join the kinship. To be able to enjoy and participate in our kinship events you are required to join our discord server.

    A frequently asked question is: "When do you decide to raise your level cap?".

    The answer is usually that we don't know. It depends on the content at the current level cap and the activity. If the activity reduces we start to discuss the next level cap. To get an idea you can read our season history so far:

    First Run Season history:

    • Season 1 (level cap 10): 7 October 2017 - 13 October 2017
    • Season 2 (level cap 20): 14 October 2017 - 4th November 2017
    • Season 3 (level cap 32): 5th November 2017 - December 2017
    • Season 4 (level cap 40): December 2017 - January 2018
    • Season 5 (level cap 50): January 2018 - 27 May 2018
    • Season 6 (level cap 60): 28 May 2018 - 13 September 2018
    • Season 7 (level cap 65): 14 September 2018 - 13 December 2018
    • Season 8 (level cap 75): 14 December 2018 - 14 June 2019
    • Season 9 (level cap 85): 15 June 2019 - 20 September 2019
    • Season 10 (level cap 95): 21 September 2019 - 17 October 2019
    • Season 11 (level cap 100): 18 October 2019 - 21 February 2020
    • Season 12 (level cap 105): 22 February 2020 - TBD

    Second Run Season history:

    • Season 1 (level cap 20): ~16 October 2019 - 27 December 2019
    • Season 2 (level cap 32): 28 December 2019 - 7 March 2020
    • Season 3 (level cap 40): 8 March 2020 - 11 April 2020

    Ability to Block as Beorning

    Hey there,

    I can't find any discussion on this topic so I wanted to drop it.

    The blue line of the Beorning is saying: You may block incoming attacks.

    based on the patch of version 23.1.7 that added this feature while in the blue line - the hide is your primary one, you gain 2 block per might stat point.

    While the ingame stat details still tells, -You cannot block without a shield-

    for example a captains 2 hand block is still displayed in the stat details, so can a Beorning block?

    Is it bugged, not shown or already removed for some reason?

    Returning Player - Guides?

    Hi all,

    Returning after being gone for........years. I have pretty much every class but prefer to hunt on my RK and Hunter (Both are 100+). But I want to make sure that I have a good build/gear for solo/duo play.

    Are there any good hunter or RK guides (or really any class guides) that are still relevant in the current version of LOTR? I'm looking for suggestions on legendary item Relics, traits, that kind of thing.

    Any help would be appreciate, thanks.

    About to start the game, and I have some questions

    Hello, I am an older player of LotRO (I used to play it around 8 years ago) and I've decided I ant to go back to it, but starting fresh. Before I create a character and join anything, I'd like to ask, which is the most active server? Or the server that you recommend for playing?

    Is there a Discord Server to join to chat up with the community?

    Any other tips that should be taken into account before starting the game?
