An amazing change of pace, I enjoy so much the walking in the forest and the landscape that I don't even feel the need for a horse ever. I love that LOTR feeling, walking doing my thing, having an epic battle, going back to town doing my stuff. Seriously I am glad I started this game even in 2020. In fact its even better that I started now, I play so much modern games that are non-stop buzzing and stressing you like Apex or Warzone, those are great too, but LOTRO really gives that sense of peacefulness and adventure. Only has play option and no transfer or indicator of where or how many old characters I had. As well once I come back, how do I catch up on what to do and who to talk to? | Posted: 02 Apr 2020 12:57 PM PDT Got my Warden to almost lvl 100 now and I've seen a lot of high level players wearing a sword for the warden. My question is now if there's a reason for it or if it's just a choice of looks etc.? | Posted: 02 Apr 2020 04:13 PM PDT I had to reinstall everything on my computer. Windows update pretty much screwed up my machine. Now the game will not launch. I get to choose my server from the launcher and then nothing happens. The launcher disappears and the game never launches. Any suggestions? Will downloading the game and installing from scratch work? My friend and I are looking to return to LOTRO. We played from launch up until a few years ago - bar logging on every now and then for a quick RP or a nostalgic wonder. We're based on the Laurelin server and we're looking for a casual but helpful Kinship for questing, Raids etc mostly? | Posted: 02 Apr 2020 12:57 PM PDT Finally decided to try and find a fix for my crashes. And while googling, I found posts upon posts upon tickets upon steam rants about lotro crashes. I managed to fix the client crash, which is one type of crash.. And the other type is the in-game crash. Generally people say it occurs wile entering Bree (I guess that was in the times when there were actually people there.) But in the same way, I will most definitely 100% crash in:
So like, yea.. can't something be done about it? Like, I don't know what the problem is.. Is it people's hardware that can't handle the game? Or is it the game that ends up with an error? Can't they make the game ignore the error and just carry on? And my crashes are not to-desktop... The game just freezes, but it runs in the background and you hear the music. But nothing is happening because there is no sound of mobs beating on you. Then I have to kill it with task manager and run it again. Those are the good times. Other times, I can't even go to the desktop in any way, and I have to reset the computer with the button.. Sucks.. the game is great, and I have many friends there... but I can't be having 5 crashes and 3 hard crashes per day [link] [comments] | ||

I would like to get an armour set and a couple are available to me here in Evendim to buy. I was thinking about raiment of the 7 stars for lvl 50. Should I get it? ; do you guys know better sets for lvl 50? Should I not get any sets until higher level? I'm specialized in the yellow line if that matters. Tell me your thoughts [link] [comments] |
