Posted: 03 Apr 2020 07:50 AM PDT Before the assault on Archet, Constable Thistlewool doesn't believe that the Blackwolds are a real threat because according to him, they "Haven't a leader." This is obviously false as the Blackwolds are led by Ćogan, a man of Angmar. Why would the constable, a man whose job it is to protect Archet, be so clueless with regards to the biggest threat to the town? Because Captain Brackenbrook, his immediate superior, is keeping that information from him. Everyone knows that for any secret plot to go well, the key is to have as few people in on it as possible. That's why Jon Brackenbrook was exiled, because he started getting suspicious. The only people in on this insurance scam are Captain Brackenbrook, Atli Spider-Bane, Ćogan, and Calder Cob (by necessity, as Ćogan's mole). The thing is, each one of those four were also secretly trying to double cross each other so they can take all the money for themselves. Ćogan ordered Calder Cob to kill Captain Brackenbrook during the assault on Archet, who succeeded in doing so. Calder Cob was the perfect double agent. After all, he had been loyal to Captain Brackenbrook since he was a boy. Ćogan was going to have Calder Cob killed later, but we took care of that for him. Just before the attack, Atli Spider-Bane moved all of the evidence that would implicate him in this scheme to the crafting hall. When he asks "Is the crafting hall safe?," he's making sure that the evidence gets destroyed. Atli originally planned on having both Captain Brackenbrook and Calder Cob disposed of by telling them that they could escape the assault through the Old East Path, where the spiders would take care of them, but then his plan got a whole lot easier when Calder Cob betrayed the Captain. Now Atli would have all the money to himself, as long as Ćogan didn't come asking for his share. Fortunately for him, he was far from the only one who wanted Ćogan dead, so all he had to do was wait for Ćogan's inevitable demise and he could retire a wealthy dwarf with nobody suspecting a thing. But Atli failed to account for one thing: Captain Brackenbrook would never be foolish enough to risk going into the flames himself. The Captain Brackenbrook that died duting the assault on Archet was a body double, played by Sergeant Redroot. Isn't it curious how Sgt. Redroot has a completely different face after the assault than before? It's because the old Redroot died posing as Captain Brackenbrook, while the real Brackenbrook snuck away to Bree, where he shaved off his mustache and started a new life as "Townsperson". Hi, first post! Best two compatible classes? Posted: 03 Apr 2020 02:37 PM PDT Hi, so my friend and I got sick of mine raft after about 10,000 hours, lol, and we both liked runescape, but we did everything a free player can do in that game that we were interested in, so we decided to find other games like runescape to try out. That brought us here So we really wanna play together like buddies, but neither of us have any knowledge about the game, so we figured we should come to the almighty experts (you fellas) and gain the information we need to be a successful duo in this game when it comes to classes [link] [comments]
Yet another new player post[Arkenstone] Posted: 03 Apr 2020 05:58 PM PDT Small disclaimer: Not totally new, I did play for a week back in 2017 but the friends I started with quit very quickly. If this is the wrong place for this post, I'm sorry. Thanks guys. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Apr 2020 09:33 PM PDT I find daggers skins boring - too generic. I have found some cool-looking clubs, though. Am I going to get tossed from pugs if I use clubs? Is it possible to use club skins over my equipped daggers? [link] [comments]

Posted: 03 Apr 2020 01:28 PM PDT Hey guys, I used to play Lotro probably more than 10 years ago now at this point, right around the release of the moria expansion, then stopped playing and haven't played bar in the odd few days since. With lock down currently occurring I thought it might be worth getting back into as I've always loved Tolkien's world, and I noticed the option to play on legendary servers. I was looking for information on these and I found very little so I just had a question or two. How popular are the legendary servers? What stage in the content are they currently up to? Thanks in advance, and I hope to see you guys in middle-earth. [link] [comments] |
