Why is ilvl 422 crafted gear dropping in price so quickly?

    Posted: 18 Feb 2020 10:03 PM PST

I know the new raid gear is going to be a good few ilvls higher, but is that the only reason the price is dropping? Are the ithilgalad crafting boxes going to drop more commonly or something? Might be stupid questions, but I haven't seen a thread about it and was wondering if I missed something.

    How is Lotro nowerdays?

    Posted: 18 Feb 2020 03:25 AM PST

Ive no interest in playing again, but asking as if I'm enquiring about an old friend.

Played at the beta with my three brothers. Met friends in the ettens who I still game with today. Witnessed my share of kinship drama. Farmed crops in the shire till 5am with my brother letting us reconnect properly irl. Creating our own dye business on the Ah. Made 100g selling burnished plate armour really early on. Spent hours camping named mobs. Our main tank got one shot, so my fat dwarven ass had to save the day contributing to our guild first balrog kill in the rift. Spent hours maxing deeds. Spend almost as long farming pages. Oh the sweet ettens. The 1V1 area. My friend wouldn't leave gv without df on his hunter and hips on his burg to save stars. Book 11 broke and made his nose x2 as big. Only a few things I can think of amoungst 1000s I stopped in mirkwood.

If you read this, regardless of when you played let me know of something cool you did in lotro.

Any way to change damage type to Light for champions? Would be nice to take advantage of the high elf trait

    Addon(s).

    Posted: 18 Feb 2020 11:35 AM PST

I'm really enjoying playing LOTRO again! Such an awesome and beautiful adaptation of Middle-Earth!
LOTRO and LOTR have such a huge community so I just thought if there was a ''sound'' addon for the quests of LOTRO? So the quest(s) got some ''voice'' acting. Would help me get so much more immersed in the game!

Other than that addon is there any other addons/mods that is must have?

    Anor: Looking for a Kin

    Posted: 18 Feb 2020 12:18 PM PST

I returned to Lotro after not playing regularly since being a hardcore raider from launch through Mirkwood. Chose the Legendary so I could sit at cap and experience some of the stuff I missed as new content. I got to 75 just a week or so before the Rohan expansion and am close to getting 85 and looking to do some endgame.

I am a Burglar. US EST Time zone. Not really hardcore anymore, but wouldn't mind doing group content a few nights a week with competent players.

    What Class/Race combo?

    Posted: 18 Feb 2020 09:15 AM PST

    Hi guys,

As of late my friends have gone back to LOTRO, a game I never played before. I have no clue what class but I'd like something similar to a Wizard on DnD, high DPS, good range, not necessarily good health. My friends counsel Ministrel, but I'm kind of attracted to Hunter, if not for its very beautiful nickname of the Huntard and the reputation of mashing one button to hit a single target.

Vocation for a Role playing Minstrel Hobbit

    Posted: 18 Feb 2020 02:45 AM PST

I was wondering what would be a fitting profession for a wandering Hobbit Minstrel. I role play a minstrel that wander from town to town and sing... I've chosen woodsman, so I could craft my own instruments, however I was wondering if there was another profession more suitable for me? I've only completed the novice quests so i don't mind changing at all. Maybe explorer would fit better the description? Or maybe even Yeoman?
