Does the Samwise Gamgee starter pack give the riding skill account wide? Posted: 20 Oct 2019 12:55 PM PDT I know if you buy it you get the riding skill, but it doesn't say if its account wide or not [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Oct 2019 08:51 PM PDT *THIS WAS MY REPLY TO A QUESTION THAT SOMEONE ELSE POSTED AND I WANTED TO SHARE IT HERE AS WELL I don't really find it fun anymore either I just play here and there sometimes with my wife but very rarely do I play alone, not sure why but it got boring,I love Lord of the ring theme and setting and the story, but the poor performance of the game outweighs my love for it There's to many servers for a low playerbase, and they opened 2 new ones š, not enough things going on outside of level cap content, poor instance finder and group finder tools, CPU and GPU intensive, even on my high end pc, trying to balance pvp hurts the pve aspect, abilities feel week, combat is to jagged, too much currency(drives me nuts to keep track of all that ugh) skirmish marks are too slow to acquire and only 2 ways to acquire them quickly (a lot to do with how hard it is to find people your level wanting to do instances on a regular basis) and there's so much more. I wish I could love the game more. Tldr. Lot of quality of life issues that make the game less and less appealing, wish the developers would work refining the already existing content rather than pumping out more and more end game stuff and increasing the level cap again before you realize there was already a level cap increase. Posted: 21 Oct 2019 01:32 AM PDT I downloaded the game and so did my friend, and both of us, really excited to play, couldnt make an account. Everytime we try the page goes to HTTP ERROR 500 and nothing seems to fix the page. How can we fix this or go around it? We really wanna play this game, and i see alot of people on this subreddit saying there could be a new influx of players with Amazon's new LOTR game and the series, but that wont happen if you cant even make an account. Any help is appreciated. [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Oct 2019 10:29 PM PDT Hey. I only care for subscription MMOs so i thought might as well check out the legendary servers. Ive always liked the look and everything with Lotro so now might be the perfect time to get into the game. I went ahead and bought a month of sub and was under the impression that the "Anor" and "Ithil" servers are the legendary ones, but once i join them i dont have access and have to unlock some of the races and classes on character creation, and once i got into the game its a free 2 play cash shop there so my thought was that I join the wrong server or something so i joined Ithil but it was the same thing there. So my question is which servers exactly are the legendary ones? thanks [link] [comments]

It's Been 5 Years Since I Last Logged In Posted: 20 Oct 2019 10:35 AM PDT Logging back in today I wondered if maybe I should start from scratch and create a new character. But curious to see if I'd be able to make sense of the game and how my character was doing, I logged into my level 27 on the Brandywine server. I was instantly confused as to what I had done all those years ago, and what I could be doing now. I'm not quite wanting to start entirely new just yet, so if anyone could give me some tips for returning players? or if I could join a group willing to hold my hand for a little? That would be great. Posted: 20 Oct 2019 02:55 PM PDT So I am relaxingly playing lotro and I get a blue screen, the 3rd one in a week -_-, previous I had the "stop management" code. Does anybody know whats going on with my pc? PS: please explain like I am a 5 year old, I am not that handy with computers ;). Thanks in advance. [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Oct 2019 07:53 AM PDT I recently watched a video that held LOTRO in esteem for most of the video, but the message turned about 3/4 into how SSG is the greediest company ever. They note the price of expansions, how you can pay-to-progress in every window, and some other stuff you could do with LOTRO points. I've never felt compelled to buy anything from the cash shop as a VIP member. I do but stuff when I get enough LOTRO points from being VIP, but I never thought the menu links to the store were too intrusive. At least, not any more intrusive then any other MMO with a cash shop. I did agree about the expansions. I've always found it weird that other MMO offer expansions for free when the new one comes out. I know ESO and GW2 don't do that, and I can't remember about FFXIV, since I bought them all up until Shadowbringers. Some other indie games also don't give you any older expansion content, you have to buy them all. What do you guys think? Is SSG greedy? [link] [comments]
Red Flags Abound! Should I Bother Continuing to Play? Posted: 20 Oct 2019 03:14 PM PDT I'm having multiple issues with this game, and I'm astounded by the level of "broken" shit is for a game with this age that has a market/cash shop, I'm really not sure if I should continue, despite my interest in the game. First, I cannot register a new account. I've been trying for days...it just doesn't work. No one replies on Twitter, there's no options on the official support site, I cannot make a support account to submit a ticket. Luckily, I managed to recover an old account user name and reset the password. I've been playing until level 6, and now I'm stuck. I'm attempting to do the "Intro: Signs and Portents" quest and I get a black screen during the quest cutscene after clicking on the Bedroll. This has been happening since 2013 according to looking for resolutions online. I've tried restarting, canceling the quest, launching in DX9 DX10 and DX11, repairing my game (yes...downloading the game files again...that was fun) and no resolution. In game, there is NO HELP MENU that loads. It's just a black window with "FAQ" and "Submit Bug" buttons at the bottom that I cannot interact with. So WT-actual-F is going on with this game. I could spend $1000 at their Cash Shop right now and I can't get past a F'in Level 6 quest due to game bugs!!! I can't even ask people in game in World chat because I haven't played long enough to socialize with people?!?! I really want to play this game, but its super apparent that the game is unbelievably poorly maintained by SSG and it's not worth my time (or money, should I invest in anything). Should I just bounce? [link] [comments]
Haven't played since the release of Legendary Servers - where are they @ now? Posted: 20 Oct 2019 01:41 PM PDT I played at the start of the Legendary servers, then quit for a while. I am looking to come back, but I'm curious as to what phase they are at now, and everything I've missed. Are they still as popular as they were at the start? Thank you [link] [comments]
