Getting ready for Minas Morgul Posted: 19 Oct 2019 11:28 AM PDT I've been off the grid since spring, mostly for work and personal travel. It's been hard to keep up with things and I'm hoping someone who's in the loop can chime in.
...and any other advice to get ready would be appreciated! [link] [comments]

Posted: 19 Oct 2019 10:38 PM PDT I dunno how to find guilds in this game. I'm new, but enjoy RP and discussing lore. I'm a pretty casual player, just enjoying leveling, and looking to find people to share in an adventure! [link] [comments]

The awful infrastracture of Standing Stone games' market Posted: 19 Oct 2019 11:43 PM PDT At this point this is not a please help me post, I am only here to point out that many others like me have had it with this garbage website that just vaguely gives payment authorization failed errors and not letting us buy jack shit. Please don't even start with "did you make sure to have enough balance hurr durr" yes everything is green, i use the card daily, in fact i just purchased the latest expansion for guild wars 2. I was looking forward to hopping back into middle earth and re-leveling through the stout axe dwarves but I have never seen such bullshit in a games' store before. Most companies make sure the store works first and foremost lol. Again, this posts point is to show that the games' population could be better, but you will never (unless declared like this) see the ones that give up on the game due to technical difficulties, others will blame the population to the games' performance while that is not accurate. Anyway, best of luck in your adventures to those who make it in there. Farewell. [link] [comments]
Cut off date for Minas Morgul preorder? Plus a question about level up items. Posted: 19 Oct 2019 04:00 PM PDT I haven't seen this asked or answered anywhere, but will there be a cutoff date for pre-purchasing Minas Morgul? Will we be able to purchase it right up until October 29th? Or will the "preorder" still continue after that "release" date? Also, regarding the "____ of the Valar" level up to 120 item: Will SSG offer an "upgrade" item in-store that lets lvl 105+ players close the gap, without having to buy the full Valar item? I just Valar'd to 105 a month or so ago and am now at 111, was hoping there would be an alternative to either spending approx. $60 for the new Valar item or grinding. I thought I had read that there was such an 'upgrade' item that was released with Mordor, but could've been mistaken. [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Oct 2019 10:47 AM PDT I just finished mastery in both Anórian (Tier 10) farming and cooking and I'm looking to get some return on my time/gold investment However I don't see a lot of food/drinks being sold on AH... Is farming and cooking just a money sink or is it possible to, at the very least, break even by selling stuff to other players? What items should I put up on the AH? [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Oct 2019 12:12 AM PDT I want to play this game again, but I don't want to pay for expansion, how free can I make the game and is there any new news I have missed in the three years since I played. [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Oct 2019 03:13 PM PDT The pinned FAQ post has at least one link that isn't viable (the zone quest pack guide), and it's titled as being from 2017. The most recent comment is 1 year old. I am sure I am not the only one that would appreciate updated links, and the subreddit would benefit in less repeated posts on the subject. [link] [comments]
Low level kinship in Laurelin? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 07:36 AM PDT I'm a lvl 38 Guardian, Middle-earth fan, relatively noob to the game. I'm looking for a kinship to level up together and have some relaxed fun. I'd like to mainly follow the epic quest line. Never been into any kinship before. I might be into role-playing, but I wouldn't consider it my top priority. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Oct 2019 01:44 PM PDT So the DEVs released a statement saying they are looking into the account registration issues, but they said some people are still able to make accounts. Is anyone here actually able to make one? [link] [comments]
Question, difference between quad pack and xpacs individually? Posted: 19 Oct 2019 08:50 AM PDT Is the quad pack, for sale on the lotro website, the quest packs or the full xpacs? Reason I'm asking is the maths. If I use Lotro Points to buy the xpacs on the current 20% off sale, it would seem to be about $60 worth of points to get the 4 expansions yet the quad pack is $40. If I were to buy the quest packs with the $60 lotro point bundle then it comes out to about $39 worth of LP, which lines up math wise. Problem is when I look at the packs in the Lotro store ingame, and look at the quad pack on the Lotro market off the website, I can't tell which is which. Lotro market says xpacs and not quest packs, does anyone have experience between these two? I'm considering buying but I may just wait for a better sale as well. [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Oct 2019 09:49 AM PDT As a brand spankin new player - How should I be playing this/What servers should I roll characters on? If I want to play with others, and have the servers feel populated as I level? [link] [comments]

Posted: 19 Oct 2019 12:35 PM PDT SSG never fails to amuse me: when was the last time you heard a professional company talk about their slow/unresponsive/unreachable forums, which have been in that state for years, with seemingly proud confidence? And just now do they have "plans" to fix it. Also don't forget: blaming isn't the point, because it's clearly not SSG's own inability that the forums are this way, but due to some unnamed entity. https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthread.php?676020-Fix-your-forums&p=7966021#post7966021 Though it's on par with just now doing the first BR round when the new update is set to release on the 29th.
