With the new 31.1 patch we won't be able to use moor gear. But right now with FOG being so recently implemented there isn't amazing gear to raid with unless you wanna spend like 60 bucks on keys or run scaled instances. Anyone have any suggestions where to get gear atleast strong enough to do DOP T2 T3?

Blue vs red guardian

New player here. Just decided I wanna play guardian, currently level 16. I know that blue guardian is tank and red guardian is dps? I wanted to ask you which one of them is more viable. When it comes to questing I find that I get killed really fast and do damage really slowly with the blue guardian and the complete opposite with red. Isn't blue supposed to be more tanky?

Also, which virtues should I use? Ty.

Game launch failure

Game was working great. Exited to deal with things. Came back and now it has a game launch failure… missing dll: d3dcompiler_42.dll missing d3dx10_42.dll missing d3dx11_43.dll

I had changed literally nothing

Holidays coming around, got some time off, thought I'd check out some old games. Launched LOTRO let it update, and can't really play due to sound issues. Soon as game starts to launch all sounds become.. I dunno tinny is best I can put it. You can hear everything but it's kinda lofi midi value type sounding. Even media playing outside of the game has it's sounds altered. Soon as I shut down the game, it returns to normal. It's just too annoying to really get back into the game since like turning game sounds off and listening to something in background doesn't work as it alters everything on the PC.

Some googling resulted in some OpenAl config tweaking that didn't seem to do anything. Tried 32 and 64 bit client to see if any differences. No changes. Never had an issue like this before with LOTRO or any other games in the past. Deleted and reinstalled fresh, same deal.

Any ideas?

no subscription for lotro found

yo, so i wanted to give the game a go, have made 2 brand new accounts and all say i cant play because no sub? all the info i can find online has people saying its because people had accounts previously etc but ive literally just made a brand new email to register and get same issue. does anyone have any ideas on a fix? i have tried native and steam clients
