What can a non-player husband do to surprise or help his avid player wife?

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 04:53 PM PDT

Are there any in-game add ons or items that I can purchase for her account? She is an avid player and has been going through some hard times and LOTRO has been somewhat of an escape for her lately. I would like to give her a bit of a boost if possible.
I appreciate any of your recommendations.

    thank you

Landroval PvP & raid focused kinships

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 06:27 PM PDT

    Hi everyone,

I was on Lotro wiki and searched up the kinships page, I found many Kinships. But it seemed as though hardly any of them focused on raids or PvP. I was wondering if any souls out here would know any raid/PvP focused kinships? BTW this is for Landroval.

    Thank you.

Looking for a kinship on arkenstone

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 06:21 PM PDT

Me and my friend are coming back to the game after a break for a few years. Looking for a kinship on arkenstone to hang out with and talk to while we level!

We'll both be starting fresh and I've never been past level 50 so I still haven't experienced most of the content!

Age wise, we are both in our 30s and would like a group of other adults although the occasional kid isn't a bad thing :p

I am planning to play a runekeeper and he is going to be Captain Please let me know if we sound like a good fit for your kinship! :D

    Craftable Consumable Finesse?

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 05:57 PM PDT

I've realized that my hunter (65) is really very low on finesse (but I'm having trouble finding items that will help my finesse rating) and I remember someone making me consumable finesse booster and consumables are the one craft trade I haven't gotten into.

Is this a recipe a cook learns? Where do I get this from?

Is there a possibility to tank it alone? We didn't get through it because the dots were ticking way too high.

LANDROVAL: escort needed for a run tp Mordor!

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 07:51 AM PDT

    Hello there!

I posted here yesterday in search of someone to help me with a chicken run! I found my man, and it was super fun going all around the world, as far as Rivendell! But all I got was this lousy cloak!

I thought I was done, but boy was I wrong! There are not one, not two, but THREE extra quests, all of them completely insane!

So, I am once again asking for your hmm.. physical support? I'm seriously praying that there is someone (anyone!) crazy enough to take me up on this!

I'll offer company in the form of bad puns and dad jokes over on Discord or whatever platform you use.

    Let's get this started!!!

EDIT: I beat this! 2 more crazy chicken quests to go!

    Warden Gambits and Latency

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 05:12 PM PDT

    Hi all,

Hopeful to get some input from the Warden experts....

IF you are reaching 100+dps, what is your latency to the game (or where in the world are you playing from).

I'm currently sitting on 230ms, and I have a feeling I'm limited by latency, and if my sole aim is to dps for end game I might as well play a different class.

    Thanks in advance!

    Lore-master Levelling + Dungeon Viability

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 03:44 PM PDT

So I'm returning to LOTRO after a few years and since many things have changed and I've forgotten most of it, I'd consider myself to be on a "new player" level.

In MMOs my favorite classes have always been Mages, Sorcerers, etc., basically classes with magic abilities (since Gandalf is my all-time favorite character from LOTR). I would also prefer to play as a human and since Lore-master is the class closest to that description (sadly Rune-keeper is limited to Dwarves and Elves), I was wondering how Lore-masters fare during levelling and earlier dungeons, as well as solo and damage abilities.

Trio starting LOTRO for the first time

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 08:47 AM PDT

Long time MMOs that always seemed to have other games to play. Well, we want a new to us MMO so decided on LOTRO. Like the idea od 3-party instances. I will have two toons since I will play 3 times as much as wife and son.

To the question of what would be a great tank(for me even though I hate tanking) for 3 man instances. The wife will be playing Loremaster and son a rune keeper. I was thinking Warden but not sure I want to play the gambit weaver style even though a spear and shield class really excites me, I do not want to play Guardian I will get bored being a straight tank like that. I usually play a bard or monk class in most games.
