| I found a strange area north of Weathertop Posted: 11 Nov 2021 06:56 PM PST I was questing around Weathertop on my low level LM, when I spotted a wide valley leading North which I had never seen before. Curious, I hopped on my captain (who is 131), fast traveled to Ost Guruth, rode my war steed until I got to the area, and explored it. It runs in a semicircle, with a hill in the middle. If you climb the hill, you can get a good look at the surrounding region, including the zone north of the Lone-lands, which you can't reach. There's nothing in the valley except a few mobs. However, if you look at the map, you'll find yourself beyond the border the map shows. I'm convinced this is a prelude to a new zone SSG is planning. Either that, or I seriously missed something I should have noticed long ago. [link] [comments] | ||

I became so invested in the adventures of the grey company way back when, and I was equally invested in uncovering the secrets of the black book and the gúrzyul (especially karazgar!). my only complaint would be that a lot of quests involved overhearing long conversations, but they were interesting and well-written, so I didn't mind too much. do we ever discover karazgar's real identity? I felt like they made a big deal out of the bugdatish/bugdash thing, and I thought maybe his origins would show up either in the black book or the lay of rust and rime, but nothing yet! Executed chapter 5.6, which ends with an instance on the stairs, and clicked "cancel", hoping to start the instance over, but the same character did not already have a quest start. | Posted: 12 Nov 2021 02:36 AM PST Hey /r/LOTRO, I joined back last month after last playing in Rise of Isengard. I started a new account since a lot changed since then and I honestly can't remember my credentials. I was wondering if this: https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Account_Types is still updated, since it seems to have some discrepancies. For e.g. it says that after being VIP you keep the no maximum gold limit, however further down it says that Premium needs to purchase the gold cap removal, and that there is a 5g cap for Premium. I just finished Mirkwood and need to remove the gold cap so I can upgrade the LI. If the cap is removed forever after being VIP for 1 month I would go for it since it will unlock Swift travel and the traits. If not I will just purchase it from the store since I would have to do it eventually, even after VIP. I've stopped playing as I kinda dislike the end-game of MMOs (farming dungeons, etc etc) and what I truly like is discovering the Middle Earth and doing quests in the landscape. Is there already a confirmed schedule to Moria be released on Treebeard? I never played past Angmar in the past, and I'm so excited to come back to the game and experience Moria for the first time. They "We have forwarded your ticket to the relevant team and it will be looked into. Note that there may be some delays but we will get back to you as soon as possible. " on August 4th. I created a second ticket on September 25th since they hadn't responded on the first ticket. On September 29th they closed the second ticket and responded with "We're very sorry for the delay, you're ticket is still waiting to be analyzed by the dedicated team. | Posted: 11 Nov 2021 04:31 AM PST Lvl 131 guard, solo player. I went to Gundabad to check out the new area. I can't even beat the wolves/bats. I asked on World chat, and they said all my armor/jewelry sucks, that it needs to be blue. I spec'd everything for might (because the game said "might is very important for you") when apparently as a solo player I should have spec'd for mitigations. Ok, I accept the criticism, but how do I get new gear? They suggested running School or Woe (assuming that meant Willow of Woe), but all I got was bounties (i.e., gold). My alts don't have this problem, they can play on-level content. EDIT: Nothing on-level in the AH, nor skirmish camps. EDIT: Gear. | Posted: 11 Nov 2021 09:29 AM PST Hello Everyone, I'm not sure if this is a silly question. My Allegiance tracker went missing. I was up to level 28 on the last faction I had left - Man. All my allegiances disappeared as well, but the travel locations (to Hall under the Mountain, Court of Celeborn, Bar Thorenion and Hall of the King are still accessible. I looked through the recent release notes following the release of Gundabad but I did not find anything about the Allegiance system (Mordor) being scrapped I may have missed something.
