    Hello, I mostly lurk on the Reddit, but I do have an account here, and it doesn't hurt to make sure people know it. I can see us doing more on Reddit in the future, but we'll see...in some ways this subreddit has worked great with minimal official participation, but I know of at least one thing happening in the near future that will require me to post.

    We've been doing recent Q&As with Raninia our Producer on the Friday Noon Twitch show (+Cord of the Rings) and in the near future we want to focus on questions from the subreddit here. I will create a separate thread for that as we get closer to it, so don't post your questions here. :)

    Sorry if this is a mundane post, but im just curious is it to late to jump into the legendary servers? Treebeard in particular. How is the population/people playing will i be walking around empty zones already or does it seem to be a living world still?will I be able to find dungeon groups at all? whats the end game aceme looking like right now? Active guilds and raiders etc. Sorry for the blurb just curious about the state a little over a month in.

    Getting first age level 100 items soloing (or duoing)

    Returning player here and I'm wondering how difficult it's going to be to get my first age weapon and class item on my own (or with one friend if I can convince them to hurry up and get their main to 100).

    For the weapon it seems my best bet is from roving threats but most of them seem impossible to kill. I have a burg, hunter, and beorning all around 100 to 109 and my beorning did manage to solo one of them but that's it. So my question is, if I just use second age items til I'm 130, will I be able to fairly easily grind out roving threats on my own (or with a party of 2)? Also, it looks like my hunter could get both of their items this way, is that correct/

    And for the class item for my burg and beorning, it looks like I'll need to craft them myself since I never see any on the auction house. And for that I need to get blemished symbols of the elder king (which I also never see on the AH). Is it possible for them to drop from solo epic battles? And do you have to score platinum or can they drop if you just barely get through. The only epic battles I was able to complete during the story line were the Pelgir ones and then only by asking a friend to help. I tried soloing it 3 or 4 times but I couldn't keep the NPCs alive.

    TLDR: Will roving threats be easy to solo at 130? Can blemished symbols of the elder king drop from non-platinum pelegir runs? Are there other ways of getting symbols that can be done solo?

    valar boosting from 119 to 120

    Purely for the LIs you get. Is it worth it? Seems like a big time saver if you disregard the monetary cost. Can I even boost a character this high level?

    The Brawler

    A new class to be released with the Gundabad Expansion, we haven't seen a new class for 6 years, maybe in 6 more we'll see another, but the spotlight is shining on the Man of Fists, the drunken fighter, the mad fist thrower, the bare knuckle boxer of Middle Earth.

    Fun facts: (spoilered because there is some real technical 'spoily' information here)

    -A melee DPS class with a tanking side-role.

    So it goes without saying that he'll be using heavy armour

    -A fist fighter who uses a new weapon type: Battle Gauntlets

    -Will have new animations and effects, razzle dazzle!

    -Used 'mettle' to build up more powerful attacks

    think Fervour or Focus

    -Has 2 trait specializations instead of 3

    The third trait line (yellow will contain melee and tanking abilities to further augment your build)

    -Might even be able to knock enemies back too!

    now you can get revenge on all those trolls and uruks who threw you off cliffs

    I bought pre-purchase back when it came out (2007ish?). Played some Beta. Love all that is The Lord of the Rings, and The Hobbit. Have played on and off for all these years. I know it's meant to be "fellowship", group stuff...MMORPG...right? But, I like doing my own thing. I've never gotten past level 64. Until the other day; I boosted. 120. I'm still playing through the quests. Still want rep and deeds and crafting. It's exactly perfect for someone who likes to play solo, and still see stuff they've never been able to see before. I will work my way through, (yes, not very challenging, but if I feel I want that, I can Skirmish or something), but will enjoy zones I haven't seen. Plus, after all this time, I have every main crafter on alts, and am gonna get them leveled, too.

    I'm definitely going through the epic quest line (so far), which is quite enjoyable when I don't have to worry. I am happy with what I have going on.

    Fact is, though...I've played another game that has made me terrified of "grouping". I cannot say I know all that I'm doing with my class. What I can say is that this is the first time I've "gotten it", so to speak. I have always been better as a ranged DPS, and even before I boosted, felt way better than I ever have in the past in LOTRO as a Yellow RK on my boosted toon (before Boosting, of course.)

    I play on Arkenstone. Rosurviel. Let me know if you are willing to run with a noob 120 and help me learn.

    I want to come back to the game and resume my High Elf Guardian specifically to play 2-handed and the yellow line skill tree. How screwed am I? Is it just not worth it?

    Help, can’t log into one character

    So I tried to log into the character I've been playing recently on Brandywine and for some reason it just doesn't load in, the loading bar doesn't fill and eventually the game disconnects. I can, however, log into any of my other characters on the server. Has anyone experienced anything like this or know what the problem might be? Thanks in advance
