This is way too late but I wish in the character selection menu your characters homeland would be in the background and not just the one that all characters of a certain race have.

I think it would give the game a little bit more flavor if your characters country of origin would be in the background instead of the generic one that all characters of a certain race have.

This isn't a major problem but it makes it hard to play as a man from Rohan or Dale or Bree when you only get the background of Minas Tirith.

This goes for all the races.

After almost 12 years, this is still one of the best endings to an epic quest volume.

    War Bands

    Posted: 16 Feb 2021 08:34 PM PST

I have been playing this game since it came out; and getting one-shotted by a war band that you were doing your damnest to have nothing to do with -- literally galloping away on the Rohan steed -- still seems like BS

Lotro class, race and level by the numbers

    Posted: 16 Feb 2021 04:53 AM PST

Spend some time in the fellowing panel to get some numbers about class, level, grouping etc

Always wonder what class is the most popular? Or what race? Do people quit in Rohan? First look at lotro by numbers. https://lotroplayers.com/2021/02/15/lotro-class-and-level-numbers/

    Guide to endgame

    Posted: 17 Feb 2021 02:58 AM PST

    Hi!

Is there a guide for a player that wishes to reach end-game ASAP due to various alts? Don't get me wrong, I know the lore and content is amazing and immersive, and I enjoy it very much, but having done that I wish to optimize my way to endgame without missing the crucial parts like class trait points etc. I don't have a lot of time and would like to get to level 130 faster than going through all the zones, epics etc.

    Thanks!

LOTRO Update 28.4.1 Release Notes (Wednesday, February 17th)

What would you say to making former endgame areas a little easier?

    Posted: 16 Feb 2021 10:41 PM PST

We have several former endgame areas, yet only the most recent one really matters. Most players who haven't already aren't going to spend the time grind out Hytbold or Dol Amroth. That said, what if they made the grind a little more bearable? I'd love a set of Swan Knight armor, but I don't want to spend days doing the grind for it. However if the requirement was lowered I'd be more inclined to do it even if only for using it as an outfit. My kin generally agrees with this idea. What does the subreddit think?

    Server identifier

You know how some people on this subreddit have their server listed next to their user name? How do I add that to lotro posts?

Can't I keep my own stuff?

    Posted: 16 Feb 2021 09:50 AM PST

I finally got my tailor toon high enough to make tapestries. To my surprise, I can't put any of them in my house!

Is that right? No crafted tapestries are housing decorations?
