    Best Profession/Vocation for a Lore Master?

    I started the game last week and got to the point where I can choose a profession/vocation. I'm not entirely sure which is more useful. My character is an elf lore master. Does anyone have any advice on what I should choose? Does choosing a profession/vocation even matter? Thanks.

    Need a little help with the store and the new deal

    Does VIP affect your enjoyment of the game?

    Getting back into the game because of the recent free quest giveaway. I get that people don't mind paying for VIP to support the developers.

    I'm curious though, if you guys think VIP affects the overall enjoyment of the game. Would you feel that without paying for VIP the game is incomplete perhaps?

    Which classes don't have shouts or yelling?

    Hi. I've been away from LOTRO for a long while. I played a lot, but didn't like the yelling mechanics, and I can't play without sound.

    I'm not disparaging the game, just looking for a character without yelling.

    Best classes/vocations for a pure F2P player?

    I am a free player with two character slots, one of which is a ~20 level Hunter with the Explorer vocation. Assuming I don't have any particularly strong preferences between classes, what class and vocation would you suggest for my second character?

    VIP rest xp

    Ok I know theres been a post about this feature a few days ago, but my question is slightly different.

    Basically it's about how you trigger getting it and how much.

    1. Do I need to level up to get the next daily dose or not?

    2. If not, do I have to log in to every character every day to trigger it or will it accumulate over time when not logged in?

    3. When the xp boost overlaps from 1 level to the next, is the 30% of your level counted when you aquire the boost or based on the level you currently are? To clarify: if I use 5% of my lvl bar on lvl 50, would I get 25% boosted bar on lvl 51 or would it be slightly less?

    Questing at level 38

    Where am i supposed to head now? I can't seem to find any quests anymore, not in Rivendell/Trollshaws or Misty mountains. Been through most of the camps i can find.

    Trying to power my way through to 45 so i can get to Moria.

    Best expansion on sale?

    Hey guys! Old LOTRO player here that returned to the game thanks to the gift code for the quest packs. I was wondering which of the expansions on sale (RoI, RoR, HD, SoM - I already own MoM) is the best to get as a lvl 50 hunter. As far as I know, the only one that follows the epic quests is Helm's Deep.

    I'm so glad really high mobs are a bright purple

    Twice in different zones I've almost run straight at a lvl 100 mob (today while @level 44 and earlier I almost ran into a lvl 100 dragon - today in Evendim and the dragon was in North Downs).

    Are they special mobs higher-level players come back for, like those treasure caches I sometimes see?
