    Real-life death of a Laurelin player

    Aiya!

    Some of you may have seen Anglachelm's post on the forums. For any Laurelin players who aren't aware, the player of Daegond of Vanimar unfortunately passed away about two weeks ago following a struggle with COVID. He was 39.

    We have already held an in-game funeral for Daegond, and we are grateful for the kind attendance of Blue Mountain Regiment, Durin's Folk, some former kinmates, Loth I Lonnath, and even a pair of Shire-folk. We thank you all for the caring messages we have received.

    I am posting to ask a favor. If anybody has screenshots of Daegond the character, pictures of his player, or just crazy stories about in-game interactions, please post them or contact me. Laurelin Archives has kindly created a chronicle for memories here.

    If you have none of the above, but feel compelled to remember the player or his characters (he was also Daelith, Darnur, and Lossehelin in previous Laurelin llives), you could throw five Euro at COVID relief in Turkey or Bulgaria, or just get together with some friends (at a safe distance) to play dice, eat meat, and get drunk.

    Again, many thanks to the Laurelin community for being the light of Anor to us during this dark time.

    Can someone with good english please write a letter regarding Runekeeper in the lotro forum and then the community spams their replies for recognition?

    Its not fair what they did to runekeeper.. at the moment he does less damage than a good burglar and loremaster in single target and AOE. 2 friends of mine quit lotro in the recent months because nobody would consider them for a T2-T5 raid or hardly even for AM T4-T5 if i wouldnt carry them with my captain

    And to those people who say "idk WhAt YoUr PrObLeM iS mY KiN tAkeS mY RuNKEepEr EvReRyTiMe" just because your kin is willing to punish theirself and carry you, doesnt mean other people get the same luck

    Landscape Skirmish Soldier for Moria Quests

    So, I've been enjoying skirmishes (especially the Moria ones) and was doing some reading today at lunch. Seems that there was (most of the posts are 7 to 9 years ago) a time when using your skirmish soldier/ healer in landscape was a thing...

    Because I play at odd hours (weirdly variable times where there are usually few fellowships up and running), I've had problems finishing the Moria fellowship quests which are tying up a lot of my quest potential for Mirkwood...they're still mostly blue (a few white and fewer green) so I don't just want to dump or cancel them (especially the ones with Lothlorien faction) but it looks like I'll have to be lvl 70+ to get them done.

    Unless I can use my skirmish soldiers in these instances. Even back in the day it seemed pretty expensive but I have a good bank of points and marks so should be able to use them to at least clear out a few quests.

    Is this still a viable strategy, today? Was it nerfed? If it is, what recommendations do you have for using a skirmish team (if more than 1 is allowed) in Moria. LVL 60 champ so I'm used to using the herbalist but have the soldier too.

    Thoughts?

    Reshade problem

    Hello all,

    I saw many awesome screens with reshade but unfortunatly for me, the game won't even launch after installing it. I didn't select any special stuff during the installation and had the x64 launcher selected too.

    The game launcher opens, but the game itself won't. Not even a warning/error/...

    Google did not help, neither did searching this sub (or at least I didn't find the answer).

    Help please :)
