Lord of the Rings Online | As a noob player, today I have learned that you can adjust the size of your bags by clicking on "edit mode". I am sharing this because there might be other new players that don't know this option exists.

Can't buy the minas morgul expansion when using their website

    Posted: 13 Feb 2021 02:37 AM PST

Anyone else having problem buying expansions from the LOTRO website? I keep getting this message after pressing the 'buy now' button:

"We're sorry, your purchase cannot be completed. Possible reasons for this may be:
You have previously purchased the item.
This purchase cannot be applied to your subscription(s).
Offer is no longer available for purchase at this time.
We are currently experiencing technical difficulties.
    We are currently performing maintenance."

People are having the same problem over at the forums, just thought that I might check over here to see if anyone managed to get a workaround.

    New Player, Question

    Posted: 12 Feb 2021 02:59 PM PST

Will running Lore-Master w/ Ancient Master land me a spot in Raids? I've always been a huge Gandalf fan and I wanna play Lore-Master and support my team more. And I remember when I first saw Lord of the Rings I remember going "Holy Fudge, that's a Wizard with a Sword!" XD

    New Player Stuck on Initializing?

    Posted: 12 Feb 2021 09:38 PM PST

I am a brand new player, and I am very excited by the idea of Lotro! However, I cannot seem to get past the 'initializing' step of logging in. My device exceeds the recommended specs for playing the game, and I have friends from the same region of the world as me who are easily able to log in, and yet, no matter what I try to do, I simply cannot get past initializing. Have I done something wrong? Any help would be hugely appreciated! Thank you for your time!

Should I change my vocation to a armorer? I’m a high elf captain btw.

I'm a high elf captain and I tried to pick something that would fit the theme of a captain so I picked a armsman but now I am having second thoughts.

Should I stick to the armsman trade or change it?

    Amazon LOTR MMO

    Posted: 12 Feb 2021 08:22 PM PST

How do you think they'll do classes and races? Will they have a class like Lore-Masters? I havent found much, but maybe someone else knows more? Any theories? God knows I hope it's not another survival mmo like Conan, Ark ect. Oh I'd love it if they implimented a fighting mechanic like For Honor or Mordhau. Thatd be exciting.

Resistance to do content - does it happen to you too?

    Posted: 12 Feb 2021 11:47 AM PST

I've been playing LOTRO on and off since Beta and have about 18 toons all the way to lvl 130 on two accounts.

When this week the Ill Omen content was released, I caught myself immediately thinking on reasons NOT to do it, almost without looking at the rewards and not knowing really how easy/complex it is.

The most interesting part is that I've been instead investing time on all things to clear Deeds from Bree and Shire!

Trying to find something to blame, I think in LOTRO every area, expansion, or even every "system" requires energy on learning understanding not to mention actual grind, the bar for casual players is so high, that when yet another new something is announced it mentally bogs me down.

    Hunter pre-raid BIS

    Posted: 12 Feb 2021 04:18 AM PST

Hi, I have the armour set from stairs and threshold T1. Am wondering what are the best options for off-hand and neck, I have access to crafter's if the T13 stuff is any good? Embers boxes are also an option but if there are alternatives that don't require embers and are almost as good, I would like to hear about them.
