    Hey, Folks!

    Music band 'Polnolunie' is releasing two new videos very soon!

    If you hear about us for the first time -- we play music in the Game (mainly on the Laurelin server), and we shoot videos that you could see on our Youtube channel:

    [SSG Announcement] LOTRO Update 28.2 Information and Dates (Tier 5 Stair/Threshold, Yuletide Festival, PvMP Update, Legendary Worlds Advancing to Gondor)

    We wanted to get the word out about a few things in the works for the near future. We are currently working on a patch for next week that will include some significant updates to the game, and there are a few timing and dating announcements related to it.

    Next week's patch will include our work to update PvMP, and it will also allow us to debut the Yuletide Festival with new items the following day. This update will also include the debut of T5 Stair Battle and Bloody Threshold starting at noon Eastern (-5 GMT) on Thursday, December 10th. Additionally, it includes a number of changes that will support the debut of Gondor to the Legendary Worlds of Anor and Ithil later in December. If you wish to prepare for the next update to the Legendary Worlds, now is your time!

    Dates and times:

    Yuletide Festival:

    The Yuletide Festival begins on December 10th, starting at 10:00 AM Eastern, and the festival runs through January 4th, until January 5 that 3:00 AM Eastern.

    T5:

    Tier 5 difficulty of Shakalush, the Stair Battle and Amdân Dammul, The Bloody Threshold will become available on 12/10/20 at 12PM Eastern. The Leading the Charge / Ahead of the Curve deeds and titles will be available for both instances through 1/20/2021 (turning off 1/21/21@3:00 AM Eastern).

    Legendary Worlds: Gondor

    The Legendary Worlds of Anor and Ithil will have their level cap increase to 100 on December 16th, opening access to the regions of Western Gondor, Central Gondor, Eastern Gondor, and Old Anórien. This content includes The Paths of the Dead, Gondor Aflame, Ashes of Osgiliath, and The Siege of Minas Tirith. Arrives to the Legendary Worlds of Anor and Ithil on December 16th starting at 10:00 AM Eastern.

    Beorning dual wield or 2h weapons?

    Hello, I'd like to ask this simple question - should I use dual wield or 2-handed weapons on my Beorn?

    Trait-wise, I am mostly playing red DPS line in duo/trio with my friends (blue/yellow lines don't seem necessary at our setup and red makes it a lot more fun) and I spend majority of the time in bear form.

    Currently I am at a pretty low lvl (33), but I'm going to craft blue weapons for when I'm higher lvl soon.

    What’s a good class for end game/group play?

    I haven't played in years and finally decided to play again. I have a level 100 LM that I spent hundreds of HOURS on building for (at the time) the best gear, all the achievements etc.

    Is it worth relearning the LM or is there a better class for pvp/group play (I don't remember if they're called raids or dungeons)

    When I left years ago, the minstrel was beasty in pvp since they had just introduced the different skill trees...

    Does anyone have any suggestions? All remember is feeling so powerful with the glass-cannon that was my Loremaster lol

    Perma-banned account after my account got hacked and just wish they would reinstate my account. :(

    My account got hacked, and then my kin, and my Lifer account got banned for breaking ToS while it was hacked. :(

    I filed tickets with SSG, they originally restored my account. I then did a follow up to see if there was any way they could restore any of the transactions that happened while my account was compromised, and THAT was when they perma-banned my account.

    I filed appeal tickets and kept reaching out to SSG for three years, and they just shrugged their shoulders, affirmed the ban, and told me tough luck.
