| Posted: 05 Oct 2020 09:47 AM PDT Hey, All, I recently started playing LotRO again (from level 1 once more). This also happened to coincide with me volunteering to be the DM for a D&D group (since nobody else ever does). Turns out, the intro areas are perfect introductory stories. I've ran through the Archet story so many times since the game came out that I know the story beats and characters by heart. A few name changes here, a couple flavor changes there, and all of a sudden I have myself a nice level 1-5 adventure. That's really all there is to this post. Just and admiration for how well-done the intro stories are and my appreciation for them letting me be a lazy DM. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 05 Oct 2020 11:52 PM PDT As the title says...I'm currently leveling my new char so all I do are quests...no crafting, etc.. I have all quest packs and was VIP 3 years ago so I have some persisting perks, like bigger wallet. I also filled up all character slots with different races and classes, just in case I'll play them in the future. Are there any VIP perks that would be useful to me if I'm only playing through quests? [link] [comments] | ||

Playing a warden, got first LI's at 48 or something, have been levelling them through Moria, and am experimenting with relics and gems and all that fun stuff. My question is, how often should I upgrade my legendary weapon to a different one? Like rn my spear is level 30, do I level it to 40 and then get the q higher player level LI? Is there a guide as to how often you should get a new Li? Any advice would be appreciated:) Edit: Also just realised that slotting legendary items, even if they're not equipped, still levels them up? | Difference in to servers + explorer class Posted: 05 Oct 2020 04:56 PM PDT Good evening, I took a fairly long break and am looking to buy a year sub and enjoy making my way, exploring Middle Earth. I want to be immersed in Middle Earth so thought I would ignore my old characters and reroll on a to server. I see one is roleplay encouraged and one is full roleplay but is there any difference outside that? I am in North American for any time zone considerations. My second question is I want a class that can solo landscape fairly well and is melee. Is Warden still the way to go? My prior classes were burglar, guardian and captain to level 60. | Wanted to ask Beorning question regarding line Posted: 05 Oct 2020 03:25 AM PDT Hey all, Don't know a lot about Beornings, and was tempted to try one. I normally just do red line things to just kick the stuffing out of the environment as I go have fun in it (Just like chillin doing environment and minor dungeon stuff), but have been reading that red line is not optimal for them as they progress in their careers. They looked fun going bear crazy, so just didn't know as you get into and past the whole Moria part of the world and beyond what is the more effective line? Keep reading Yellow, and some say Blue, but in general it could be that Red worked just fine. Don't know. So figured I would ask our Beornings out there what their experiences were.
