Is there a way to search for player names throughout servers? Lotro Alt Finder seems to be no more. Our kinship had some good people that I lost touch with after the big server merges. | Trade-offs for Buying Mordor & Minas Morgul for $$ vs LP? Posted: 08 Sep 2020 02:26 PM PDT Hey all, Sorry if this is a dumb question but I was wondering what your thoughts are on buying the expansions versus just buying LP and buying the important content. It seems to me like buying $100 worth of LP and purchasing the content (Expansions, Races, Character Slots) is a much better choice than buying the expansions for $100+ (as you have to get the CE of Mordor for the HE race). Outside of the level boost and cosmetics, is there anything else you miss out on by just purchasing LP (instances or similar stuff)? There's probably a lot of trade-offs that I'm missing out here but I've been tempted to buy $60 or $100 worth of LP with the bonus going on and buying content using the LP (starting with the races and slots until I hit expansion content). | Posted: 08 Sep 2020 03:50 PM PDT (not elb) Obviously the elb, but I was wondering which other race you would recommend for the archer? - I tried the dwarf now. Something else I thought... However he seems really off in terms of Virtue and Race-Suppport... which makes it not feel good: - the virtues he supports as bonus are 2x resistance and 1x caster - lots of reduction and melee orientation on the race-benefits. - (I don't care about the starting bonus of -8agi, that goes by when leveling, but the other general things) Also I was really lacking some facial options and my dwarf doesn't look as I would wanted him to. Why don't we have a useful dungeon-finder in lotro? Basically every mmo does have one. Not that useless thing we have, but like: -select your role -click search - get matched with a group Easy!
