Tl:Dr at the bottom A long time ago, when Turbine was in charge, I had a hunter named Amphur. I don't remember what server but I remember I sunk so many hours into levelling that toon. That hunter was levelled from 30 to 45 off of mob spawns and skirmishes.

When I returned to the game in 2017 after a hiatus I was devastated to learn that I couldn't play on my favourite character. I made an SSG account and dove back in! I created two new characters that I briefly played up to level 20. I left again due to an unfriendly Kinship and an account hack that drained my desire to play.

Queue me seeing an ad for the quest pack in my browser a few days ago. I was ecstatic as I never made it to Angmar in my combined ten-ish, I don't know the exact number, years of playing. I hopped back on and thinking that I had deleted my two most recent characters, started again on Arkenstone.

I loved it. I had never played on Arkenstone before and the population was very welcoming. I felt right at home killing bears and Blackwolds alike around Bree again. I created a Man Warden and started to remember how much I missed playing as my two lost characters. I inquired in the game chat as to whether or not SSG would be able to retrieve my characters from the Aether and a helpful gamer told me to try and log into every server to double-check and then open up a ticket.

The first server that I checked had my lost characters, an Elf Warden and a Man Minstrel. I have been enjoying levelling up those toons currently and am about to move into the Lone Lands/North Downs. I didn't catch the name of the gamer's toon on Arkenstone but I wanted to say thank you. I enjoyed the 11 levels I spent on Arkenstone and I wish my server neighbours happy hunting!

Tl:Dr I left the game in 2017 and thought I rage-deleted my characters. I was encouraged by a gamer on Arkenstone to check all the servers and I was able to find the characters I thought were lost. Didn't catch the name of the gamer but I wanted to send a thank you out in case they are on Reddit.

For years i've been asking and looking seems no one has claimed to finish the quest Fishy. Very Fishy., and again i ask wondering, as it seems like an impossible festival quest.

Best Class to Complete My New Group

A friend and I who played Lotro years ago are going to start playing again as both of our daughters (early teens) are interested in playing. I need to figure our what class I'm going to play and I wanted to pick one that best complements the three they have picked which are:

Elf Hunter

Man Minstrel

Elf Champion

I was thinking either Man Champion or Dwarf Guardian. I don't have access to High-Elf or the Stout-Axe but I do still have 3300 Lotro points on my account so I can buy one if they make a better race for whatever class I go with. I also don't have the Beorning but again I'd be willing to buy it if it would be a good complement.

Keyboard and UI Layout Tips

Hi all! Anyone has some tips for keyboard or UI layout? I have HP Omen laptop and Connect It mouse. I am looking for general tips and advice. Just to refresh my LOTRO plays (I had previously all default).

Edit: So I tried getting all movements action to numpad, that way my left hand is completely free for skills. Works quite good actually. I also unbinded some less combat usefull keys like C for Character - I can always use mouse for that. Any tips how to set up quickslots with this?

Edit2: I choose Azure Glass skin with 2x2 quickslots so I don't have any quickslots anywhere else on screen.
