But, if your looking to help out and hopefully befriend somebody helplessly confused,,, here I am! please do I really need help. I'm joking,,,,but not really I just finished the intro... have no idea where or what it's happening, but I know I'd like to get started adventuring and like a friend to guide me:)This is also my first online rpg, so that just adds onto everything But if your willing to group up with me, I'm serious when I say I don't know ANYTHING, idk if I even know how to chat or join a group- I'll google lmao I would also like to group up with other beginners too, if anybody's wants,,we could figure out all this confusing shit out together [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 15 Aug 2020 01:57 PM PDT So I opened my account back in 2009, played for a little while and then stopped. Somehow, I forgot that I had an active LOTRO subscription for about 2.5 years I believe as I have roughly 17k "points" for store use. I looked back through my account history and I can see the points accruing up until end of 2015, 500 points at a time. Anyways, I claimed the LOTROFREEQUESTS and my account shows me as having all expansions except Helms Deep and Mordor, however Mordor doesn't show up as available in the shop so, not sure what to make of that. I also don't have access to High Elf/Stout-Axe races. My question to you all is, what should I use my points on? Any really nice QoL stuff that is account wide or transferable between characters? | Posted: 15 Aug 2020 09:13 PM PDT I get that this is an old game but since we keep getting updates and expansions can something be done about this? It's really annoying that I have to mess with the size of windows, font sizes, etc. And there's not even a global way to set this, this is really annoying to have to fix this on each character instead of there being a better solution. I've tried to invite my wife and others to play and this is the first thing they notice. The current thought process I've gathered is why is this a problem still with this game when other games have either fixed this or never had this issue. This includes older games like FFXI and others that came out before this one. And I really hope that someone doesn't make the comment to just change the resolution, the idea that one application is supposed to dominate my pc is ludicrous. I just don't see how older games expect to survive long term when they keep ignoring issues like this, it would seem to me that more people will be leaving then come to play if basic things like this keep getting ignored. The current solution is such a hack that some of the font increasing options are easily missed unless you start googling for solutions. [link] [comments] | ||

There is a frustration though, when I logout of character 1, to log into character 2 on the same server, it completely exits the game and I have to launch the launcher and re-log in. I could swear when I played a few years ago, you could go out to the character select screen without leaving the game completely. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 15 Aug 2020 01:29 PM PDT Does anyone have thoughts on what classes have the best/worst "quality of life" at end game for repeatable activities, dailies/weeklies, and the like? Maybe a ranking list of the classes? Is there a really huge gap or are we talking just a few seconds from fastest kills to slowest kills on repeat kill quests at 130. I know that there are good differences in leveling speed on some classes due to kill times, but was wondering if at max level that gap closes enough for it to not really matter that much. | Posted: 15 Aug 2020 03:07 AM PDT Hi. I can't log in with my own IP address, it gets stuck on the loading page into the game and I have to use VPN and change my IP to a country like U.S to play. 2. The red dots of near enemies in the map are no longer visible and I have to find most of them by staring at the monitor and pay close attention. 3. The game does not award even a single XP for my kills especially around the Gondamon when I try to enhance my reputation with the Dwarves by collecting daggers and sword sheets. What can I do?
