So, I'm new to the game, I'm actually in the process of downloading it. I have played DDO since 09' and I have some questions.

During quarantine they came out with a code that gave almost every quest to each account, did they do the same for LOTRO? If so, what is it?

What class is your favorite to play and what are some tips?

Which server is the most popular/new player friendly?

Hi all, please delete if not allowed.

I have just started a full playthrough of LOTRO, in which I am voice acting all of the quests and generally immersing ourselves into the LOTR universe. It's a great experience to learn the lore of LOTR from all perspectives across Middle-Earth.

Yesterday at the start of our journey, we started at the outskirts of Bree where we ran in to the Rangers, Strider and Amdir. But alas, not alone. There was also a Black Rider who stabbed Amdir with a Morgul Blade, all the while a nearby town Archet was sacked by Brigands that may have been linked to the Black Rider.

Upon pushing off the threat of the Brigands with Strider and other allies, Amdir was captured by a servant of the enemy - a Cargul of Mordor. We've been left to pick up the pieces of the town of Archet, which is where we wrapped up episode one!

Hello!

I'm pretty much a new player that wants to try out LotRO. Can you please explain to me how endgame works in this game?

I assume there are dungeons/raids at max level - are they the only source of obtaining a gear?
What is there to do besides instanced PvE content at max level?
Are professions significant at max level? How do they work?
I've heard that there is player housing - is it any fun? Is it hard to obtain a house and furniture etc.?
How does world content look at max level?

Apparently this cost 20 mithril, but is it permanent? Can I switch it out with regular furniture later and switch back without fee, or is it always 20 for placing a pet?

Update 27.2 Broke GHub Functionality?

Logged in this afternoon after the update, and my keybinds no longer work on my G600. Pressing the combinations on the keyboard still activate abilities like they should; however, I'd really like to use my mouse for shortcuts.

Aside from the usual "GHub sucks discussion," is anyone else having this issue and/or found a fix?

Edit: Forgot to add that I loaded up another game and the keybinds worked just fine right off the bat, so I'm fairly certain it was the update today that borked things.

What server for new player European for partys.

Hi guys, I'm thinking of playing this game as a new player, and I'd like to know which server is better to be able to group with people from low level, make dungeons and make it a difficult and demanding experience.

I am from European time and I will play as Guardian tank.

I thought about playing in a Legendary server maybe? Is that where I will find more lvl bass people to play?

I don't mind paying a monthly fee (but then I don't plan to pay anything else unless it was an expansion).

I was chuffed to get one, But it was Will, and looks like Will isn't a big deal for an Elf Hunter? Should I use it anyway or sell in AH?

There's no other Will number 1 will stay tome, so not sure what to sell for, but others 9/10 are on there for 500g is this too much for it?
