Concerning servers and a thank you gift:

The game worlds have reopened. We will be monitoring the health of the game world overnight, and will provide more information about a thank you gift and other matters in the near future. Please note that most in-game chat and Friend/Ignore lists are disabled except for /say and /tell. We will let you know when our world chat service reopens. (LINK)

Trouble again on Crickhollow

Extreme rubber banding, delay in vendor actions and consumables. 48% packet loss when I usually have none. Put on yer lifejackets, feels like we might be taking involuntary leave of the boat once again.

Forsaken inn, how to get out of combat?

Hey everyone, I'm a new player and I'm trying to finish this Forsaken Inn instance, I've been stuck for a hour now, I tried killing every mob on the way and full stealth it (I'm a burglar), I literally just stealthed from rally point to the lever, didn't touch anyone or get seen by anyone. I can't use the lever at the end because it says I'm in combat, what the hell do I do?

Looking at some of their shared cooldowns, I'm not sure I'd need more than a few per character but do I need more than that? I'm crafting my own essences and just been going for 83% crit chance everytime.

LP advice during the sales

Hello, i am a new player, i thought this game was a joke mostly because of the free to play restrictions but its actually a great game, i am having a blast( when its working *sigh*)

I am playing 2 days now and i am already very restricted with the free to play and thinking of spending some cash since there are some limited quest packs for 99 LP in the store. So my questions are:

Is the game really stable all the other time and this mess is only temporary?
If i go VIP for one month i keep some sweet benefits like inventory slots and swift travel after it expires?
Should i buy the rohan clusters etc for 99 or no one is playing the instances anymore?
The gold cap without VIP is really only 5g for premiums which i will be after i buy things?
Do i really have to buy riding permit to even have a mount?
How much do you think i have to spend for the game to actually be fair and enjoyable up to the level cap?(not talking about cosmetics but really important stuff like inventory slots etc)

I have a ton more questions but i cant remember them right now haha.

EDIT: Bonus question, i am in EvernightEU and i live in Europe but my MS is constanty at 150 which is kinda lot for me, because of that combat feels a bit laggy, my average in online gaming is normally 80ms, my connection is defintely not the problem. So is this because of the server problems?

How does grouping for dungeons work?

I just arrived to the Great Barrow and have couple of quests to do there and I was wondering how can I find people to do the dungeon with? Since world chat doesnt work, is there a group finder or something?

Valar boost

Hey lotroliens,

Looking forward to ask for your opinion about choosing a class for Valar boost. I have 130 lvl champ and 66 lvl hunter and tried a bit (by leveling up to 20 lvl) ministrel, burglar, guardian, warden (85 lvl), captain (50 lvl). And hadn't tried yet lm, rk and beorning. The character which I would like to boost is lookin for the endgame stuff. I know, that even getting to level cap does not mean being able to do endgame. Looking for a tanky/supportive efficient at the capped content class. My thoughts are about gaurdian. Thank you

Chat not working

My friend and I started to play back on Landroval, and we cannot see the chat, nor can we use fellowship to chat. Everything has to go through Tells.

How to find my characters?

Also known as "why don't they have our character numbers next to the servers". Like SERIOUSLY. This has been an issue since FOREVER (https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthread.php?529531-How-do-I-find-out-which-server-my-character-was-saved-on)

I have had this game since the original "Shadow of Angmar" release, and several times I've had issues trying to find my characters.

I've already tried the servers that look familiar.
