Posted: 11 Jul 2020 11:25 PM PDT Just finished finally finished SoA (lvl 56), what a rollercoaster, but enjoyed its ebbs and flows even with a depressing undertone. Got the rusty tools, and went to the Hunter trader. Accidentally bought the LVL 53 LI, then noticed there is a lvl 55 I could have gotten (already have my first LI levelled to lvl 33) is there any point levelling / using this new one, or wait it out until I hit level 60? I'm about to head into Moria for the first time now. [link] [comments]
Some wedding garb is buggy on Stout-axe Dwarfs. Posted: 11 Jul 2020 06:25 PM PDT I found out today that some of the wedding garb is buggy on at least Stout-axe Dwarfs (my regular Dwarf has a lot of long hair so I can't see if it's the same). https://imgur.com/a/Qf4XQHV Two of the circlets are too large for Stout-axe heads (both are also too large on High Elf), the dresses slit their throats, and the tunic doesn't have the slit but has more of a bunched together skin bug where the split appears with the dresses. The skin issue is probably because the dresses are changing the texture of the upper body and it's not matching/aligning with the head textures. The dresses/tunic appeared fine on my High Elf and Hobbit characters who tried them on, but the two circlets were also too large on the High Elf (I didn't noticed how large they were on the Hobbit because I forgot to look closely). I assume the problem with the two circlets is because they have to fit various hairstyles, but so do other circlets that don't have this 'too large' problem. /shrug My High Elf can get away with wearing one of the circlets (Aragorn's) since she has better-placed hair than the Stout-axe to make it blend better. Anyway, just thought I'd share since I hadn't seen anyone mention this anywhere. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Jul 2020 03:18 PM PDT Lower some settings , or is this an internet issue? I have 60fps on ultra settings in all the other places. [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Jul 2020 09:47 PM PDT I hear the high level LI Grind is pretty brutal, my highest level class is a captain but i hear that they are super heavy on the LI Grind as they're going to need a 2H and 1H LI depending on the tree or role. Which classes have the easiest LI Grind? Or feel the easiest in comparison to other classes? [link] [comments]
EU Lifetime VIP Returning player. Which server to choose/how to find helpful available kinships? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 12:09 PM PDT The title says it all really. I'm returning from a 7 year "break". Have a champion at level 85 (best gear then but outdated now obviously) and I only have time to focus on one character :( Any advice as to which server I should choose and how to find a nice kinship? Is there any point to leveling the Hunter DPS legacy on an imbued melee legendary? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 06:34 PM PDT Pardon my ignorance, but it seems that there isn't that much benefit to leveling the Hunter DPS legacy on an imbued melee legendary. Asides from increasing the auto-attack damage at melee range and the few melee skills we have. Is there something I'm missing here? [link] [comments]
Problems Running LOTRO through Bootcamp on Mac Posted: 11 Jul 2020 06:06 PM PDT Hey all, I've used bootcamp to install windows 10 on my MacBook Pro running, and I downloaded LOTRO from steam. The launcher runs just fine, but when I try to join a world, the launcher closes and nothing happens. I've been trying to do some research to look for a fix, but I'm not sure how much using bootcamp is affecting the situation. I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that using bootcamp will work, but maybe that's the problem. Thanks for any help! [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Jul 2020 08:09 AM PDT Hello! I have not played since Moria (long time I know) but I have been craving an old school MMO experience and saw the promotion running. I only had 1 character, a level 59 Dwarf Guardian on Brandywine, that upon returning I realized that I have no idea what I am doing. I must have played a good 2 hours before I even realized there were trees. I ran into The Forgotten Treasury in the Silvertine Lodes and was utterly destroyed by the first group of enemies. I was rocking a 1H axe and shield on the character but as I have no friends playing anymore I figure that I better learn the ways of soloing pretty darn fast in order to be able to do anything. If there are any experienced Guardians out there that could help me with what they run/build they use to solo, I would really appreciate it. Also, if Guardian is a terrible choice for a solo players, please let me know now before I get too far in. Thanks in advance, [link] [comments]
Looking for an EU based raiding Kin on Arkenstone Posted: 11 Jul 2020 03:52 AM PDT Hey everyone, I have a level 130 hunter I want to get into raiding, I'm currently in a Kinship called the Eagles of Thorondor with this toon and I'm relatively new to raiding. I've only run Remm b1 on t1 and t2 multiple times but i'm really looking to learn and hopefully complete Remmorchant. Having a Kin to assist with end game progression would be fantastic and any help would be very much appreciated, Thank you! [link] [comments]
