    Hello, I used to play this game a long while ago before quitting in the midst of the whole WB/Turbine fiasco before LoTRO switched hands to SSG. At the time I only had experience with the Minstrel and Lore-Master classes, with a smattering of levels given to trying out Champion on an alt. Now that I'm back I'm curious about making a new character on a more active server, but am wondering what classes the community currently prefers? It can be for meta or just for fun, but I'd like to hear your ideas. ^^

    A very weird question

    Hi there folks! I hope you are safe and well :D

    So here`s the question, and I hope someone with 3D/game design knowledge could help me here.
    How`s the LOTRO art style is called? Would be realistic (for the time)? If not how would be called today?
    I'm studying 3D and want to make some models following the same LOTRO style :D
    (I mean the 3D part not the LOTR style)

    So if anybody out there would know the answer or how to find that I would appreciate!

    Similar quest lines to Bingo Boffin?

    I'm loving having Bingos story run alongside my questing, he's just moved into Moria whilst I finish off Eregion. It got me thinking are there any other quest lines like this summery at start at a low level and move through the game with you that I might have missed?

    Looking for a Landroval kin

    Been away from the game for a while, but recently started dabbling back in and I'd love to join a kin to catch up on the new raids. I'm on Landroval, NA player, EST, etc etc. I'd like to join a friendly, fairly casual kin that runs FIs (are those still a thing??) and raids. I've got a level 127 cappy I'm getting to cap and a bunch of alts.

    How to dismiss cosmetic LM pet?

    I mean cosmetic pets only meant for LM (like from 'dog-speech', 'cat-speech', etc.). I haven't really paid attention to these pets, but recently I wanted to try them out and realized I can't dismiss those, until I log out. They don't have an icon to right click and dismiss, the button on hotbar is greyed out and can't be clicked. Is there a way of doing it without the tediousness of logging out?

    Exploring the world at a low level

    Hello,

    I'm a very casual players and have a level 18 account. I really just want to explore the world and see rivendell, Edoras, Moria etc.

    My question is, if I stick to the roads will I be able to safely travel to these places at my level? Or is it not worth trying as I will be killed immediately

    Critical Error when changing resolution?

    Hi all,

    First post here and returning player to LotRO. After recently installing and opening up the game and altering some settings, when trying to change resolution it comes up with an error message claiming that I need to have DX9 or higher to run 3D or something? I have DX12 installed.

    Anybody know a fix? I repaired the files from the launcher and still nothing and I also tried to do the iniconfig.old workaround but I actually couldn't find the file.
