    It's been like 13 years since me and my dad started and 11 since we last played but I've finally returned and it's as fun as I remember.

    Lotro was my first mmorpg when my dad introduced it to me in 07 and we were hooked. We bought the lifetime membership all those years ago and after some account recovery we were able to get back in and start playing again.

    The game has changed some since I left but within the first hour all the good memories came flooding back and I'm excited to experience it all over again.

    Currently on the anor server with my dad but willing to start characters on other servers if any new/old/returning players need a lvling buddy.

    I started playing LOTRO again after all the quest packs were free with the coupon code and was wondering how often LOTRO does Double or Triple Bonus Point sales? And when was the last one and also when the new one might be expected based on past history?

    Does logging into a character unlock the VIP perks?

    If I make a character and only login once on their vip period, do I still get the stablemaster and trait unlocks? Im aware that this is the case for the bags, but I dont know about the others.

    I'm so confused, I've got a 57 minstrel, 30 RK, 30 LM, and I still haven't really found my favorite class yet. I've played every class to level 20, and would love to hear some feedback on what is in demand right now. Is warden or burglar in demand at all?

    Once I swapped to 2nd bow and I click on Heartseeker's skill, do I need to wait for it to finish the induction and hit mob or can I swap to main bow already while HS is still on induction?

    Hi all! I’m new to LotRO and was wondering if I should start on a legendary server or live server? I want to be able to play with people quest dungeons and do some light role play (preferably as a dwarf of Erebor). Also are you able to go from the blue mountains to Erebor is that journey possible?

    When does group play start

    I'm coming back to the game, primarily for what I remember to be fun pve group activity. Should I not expect to find groups reliably until I'm at or near max level? So far it seems to be dead.

    I'm level 20, with access to the Barrow downs dungeon, and a few other instances. It seems like that and LFF are max level people looking for higher difficulty activity.

    As much as I do remember loving the game years ago, I don't know if I have the 1-130 solo leveling in me before getting to the stuff I'm looking for.

    RP as a “double agent”?

    Would it be at all realistic to RP as a double agent of sorts? I have a Gondorian Captain, and recently was thinking that'd it'd be cool if at some point he fell to the darkness and corruption of Sauron, but outwardly kept his appearance as a Free Person and Captain of Gondor.

    I have an "evil" outfit and mount that I've made for it, but I wanted more opinions on whether it would be realistic for someone to disguise themselves as a good guy while actually being an agent of the Eye?

    Any advice, suggestions or criticism to the idea is appreciated!

    Is completing EPIC quests necessary?

    Hi!
    I'm a level 46 Elf Loremaster in Angmar who has completed the Epic quests necessary to cross Malenhad. However, I have never done any other epic quest. I think I've completed a couple, some books here and there when they crossed my path, but usually, they pushed me away from my path and I never bothered. Plus, I didn't need to complete one to get the next one.
    So I'm wondering if it is necessary, aside from the occasional quest line that you need to do to cross into a certain area (Malenhad) or the (I think) Volume 2 quest that you need to access something for the Legendary items?

    What is the most "needed" class in raids during endgame?

    Hey, people of Lotro!

    I'm creating a new character after an Elf Lore Master, and I'm not sure who to pick. I'm pretty sure I can figure out which type of character I'd find fun to play, but at the same time, I don't know which class is more powerful/necessary at higher levels, and which class is totally irrelevant at that level.

    I've been told an Elf Champ or a Hobbit Burglar is good, but I've also seen people put Champion rather low on "tier lists" and I never see the Burglar appear anywhere the top: however, this content can be rather old. My friends have told me the Guardian is less used because the Captain is better, but the captain's versatility makes me think someone might rather dedicated classes rather that one class that's good/average at multiple things.

    If you were to make a Top 3 of the classes in terms of endgame utility, which would you pick?

I heard Brandywine is good for running older content is that true or same goes for other servers and for class what are some good red line classes I prefer mostly melee classes but I'm open to a ranged class

    Hey there! Typical beginner question and I know this has been asked before but I can't quite understand it:

    I just started playing with free to play and am really enjoying it! I found out about the coupon code 'LOTROFREEQUESTS' and used it. This is everything I did.

    What is the best way to continue from here to get all the content? When I become VIP, would quad pack, Helms Deep, Mordor and Minas Morgul cover it all? Or would I still need to buy quests and instances?

    Sorry, this is so confusing...
