    Which class do you think best represents a ranger?

    As the title says: which class (or classes) do you think best represent a ranger?

    Hunter? Champion? Warden?

    I am personally hesitant to say Warden or Guardian as I don't see the use of a shield being common to rangers due to them being bulky and just generally unwieldy for extended travel and outdoors activities.

    Interested to hear your thoughts!

    Clarification as a new player

    So ive just started this game, and I used the LOTROFREEQUESTS code, I got all the quest packs and in the store there is expansion packs for 99LP each, do I need to grind for those?

    And are the quest packs free forever now?

    I intend to play this for free, but I dont really know what to buy for ingame content

    What’s the best way to farm embers?

    I recently reached level cap and got full langflood gear for my hunter. I'm wonder what all the good sources for embers are so I can quickly barter for essences since I don't have many mats for crafting them or much gold to buy mats

    Premium Wallet/Carry-all?

    Hi all,

    Just a quick question? Is there anything at all that stores those items you can hand in for tasks? I'm pretty new to the game however I'm finding my inventory getting clogged up with these items, and obviously picking some tasks up some of those things I've collected aren't the things that I even need.

    Do any of these 2 things collect these task items and store them separately?

    All Burglar Kinship (Landroval)

    I love love love the idea of themed kinship and I've begun some of the groundwork (rules, logo, reserved the name) for a Burglars-only kinship on the Landroval server.

    Before I actually "launch" I kind of wanted to test the waters to see if there would be any interest at all. Also, I'm a teacher and I don't know if I'll have the time to manage a kin once corona school starts back up in the fall.

    so! Would you consider being a part of a Burglar only kinship? It would have lots of theme (kind of like a not-so-secret treasure-hunter society), some light RP, burglar only raids, and other social events. If you have a Burg, would you move it to such a kin?

    I just don't want to waste my time, I suppose.

    Spakorth in Dor Amarth not giving next quest

    I did the quest where you recall the expeditions and spoke with Spakorth outside Lughash and he's doesn't have the next quest to give me. I've done every other quest in the region (and have gone on to do the entirety of the Lhingris zone. Is there some other prerequisite that I am missing to trigger the next quest?

    LotRO Endgame is it any fun in your opinion?

    I'm a newbie that has played FFXIV for years and was just curious what endgame would be like in LotRO and how fun the gearing system is. I'm asking as I enjoy FFXIV's endgame so wanna know whether LotRO's endgame would be enjoyable for me. If it doesn't sound like it would be for me I'm still gonna play the game (for the journey) just not the endgame stuff (once I get there).

    Also are they gonna change the Legendary stuff lots of people hate it from what I've read and it sounds horrible too. By horrible I don't mean you can't get it without grind I mean that it doesn't sound fun. Or is the legendary stuff actually fun and I just don't know enough about it. On the same route do the devs change store stuff or bad systems players don't like, or do they not really care too much, or change things too slowly? Cause I'm used to the Devs being really responsive in terms of feedback in FFXIV. I don't expect the same amount of responsiveness as FFXIV cause the game is much smaller (Dev teamwise) but is it at a good degree.

    Edit: I'm not quiting FFXIV just want a fun second MMO to play and am enjoying LotRO questing a lot.

    Champion, Runekeeper and Beorning.

    I decided to make a post where people can ask questions about certain classes.I'm a player in a Remmorchant Raid (currently at T2ID4) and the three classes mentioned above are my three main classes which I can play on a very high level.I started playing a couple months after release and I have been raiding in almost every endgame content, so feel free to ask any questions you want, doesn't matter which level you are, I should be able to help. :-)

    (I also have a captain lvl 75, Burglar Lvl 120 and Minstrel Lvl 85, but I haven't really been playing those in a while, so I'm a bit rusty when it comes to these classes, that's why I left them out of the title.)

    EDIT: Forgot to mention that I play on a german server and might mix up the skill names, but i try to translate it with the wiki as good as possible.

    Help me decide on a melee/tank alt

    After I leveled my Hunter and RK I want to head into the melee area. But as usual I can't decide on a class. I want to melee primarily with the option to tank as secondary. No raiding planned, strictly questing/dungeons. I'm torn between Captain and Guardian, I played both last when Rohan was current content, so I'm... rusty to say the least.
    As for other classes, I have no experience with Warden at all (always was put off by the daunting gambit system) and my Champion is currently chilling in Mordor being used as a crafting slave.
    Any suggestions? I'd like to have an easy time soloing (MM instances, too), so at least a minimum of dps is required. IÄm fully aware that it won't be as fast as with my other two heavy hitter classes, but I also don't want to spend a minute per landscape mob ;)
