About LOTRO-Points and speedrunning them Posted: 24 Oct 2019 09:44 PM PDT First: The fastest and most effective way of purchasing LOTRO-Points (LPs) is buying them. I don't want to discuss the earns per hour etc. This is not what this discussion should be about. I want to talk about speedrunning LPs and how to do it best, most effective. There are some Tutorials on YouTube and they take mostly in Ered Luin (and The Shire) place. Mostly it is about fast slayer-deeds (+accelerator) and some explorations. Before the nerf red ministrels were recommended, because of their DPS. One popular way for example is to take the lvl 10 present, use the 30 min accelerator and slay as many wolfes, goblins, hendrevail, dourhands, etc. as possible. Then send the lvl. 10 gift to your main or next farming twink and repeat. What are your experiences? What are the best early game DPS-classes now? Is it more effective to do short runs and repeat them (and also the Intro every time)? What is your best LP/hour-rate"? Feel free to share your tutorials, experiences, your opinion with us. Thanks! Out of the loop - were lootboxes adjusted past year? Posted: 24 Oct 2019 11:32 PM PDT |
Posted: 24 Oct 2019 12:52 PM PDT I feel like most of what I see about the Legendary Servers is negative: money grab on SSGs part, only for the hardcore raiders, and the like. I'm confused as to why people feel this way. Do any of the complainers actually play on either of the Legendary Servers? If so, has your experience been poor, and in what way? I started playing on Anor shortly after the Legendary Servers began. The initial appeal to me was to experience a "fresh start" and to begin leveling a character in order to experience the content rather than to race to max level. I appreciate the staging of expansions to allow for time to engage with content many of us missed; including instances and raids. I appreciate the entire Server being limited in that content so that an in-game economy can emerge. Personally, I've never had more fun in LOTRO. Maybe the Legendary Server advocates are just too busy playing to get on reddit and combat the negativity? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Oct 2019 07:55 PM PDT How long are these available for purchase? I noticed that the earlier expansions prior to Mordor are no longer available. I'd like to purchase the Mordor ultimate fan bundle, but full price seems a bit steep considering Minas Morgul is also available. I'm not ready to drop 250 bucks on the game and still be missing the earlier expansions. I was hoping to pick up the older expansions around Black Friday. [link] [comments] |
Good Classes to Duo Throughout Leveling Posted: 24 Oct 2019 01:08 PM PDT Hello Children of Iluvatar, Sorry if this has been asked already - I searched threads and mostly saw inquiries as to "what classes are currently meta for raiding and end game grouping." My question is what the title suggests - I'm returning to Lotro after about a 4-5 year hiatus with my father. We will likely duo most/all of the leveling process. What classes would folks recommend for this in terms of enjoyment/quality of life/effectiveness? Are there two that synergize particularly well together? Are there times where it's beneficial to have the traditional healer/tank dynamic? Or is it most effective for each of us to play classes that are individually powerful badasses and just muscle through stuff? Happy to hear thoughts, thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
So I came back with new account since lvl 70 cap... Posted: 24 Oct 2019 08:27 AM PDT And I want to ask about what should I buy to have acces to all enable expansions [link] [comments] |
Posted: 24 Oct 2019 03:39 AM PDT Hello, being a lotr big fan, I was thinking to trying the game. From what I understand, the games population is still there, even if the game doesn't have big numbers. So, my question is: what's the best server to start a new character? I'm from Europe FYI. Thanks all! [link] [comments] |
